Ethical BeanFair Trade Organic Coffee, Classic Medium Roast, Whole Bean Coffee - 12oz (340g) Bag

The coffee itself is good, I drink espresso every morning but most roasts I buy are quality brands and I honestly can't say I have a favorite or taste a huge difference in prepackaged coffee as they're all good to me. The reason I would choose this is that they are reasonably priced and the brand supports good practices (Fair Trade and Certified Organic). Certified Organic for those who don't know is different than Non-GMO Verified in that in addition to it prohibiting GMOs in all farming/processing, USDA Organic is also regulated by federal law and prohibits the use of chemical/synthetic fertilizers & pesticides, as well as artificial coloring flavoring and preservatives. aka it's a better label to look for.

I originally found this coffee at my local grocer, who has since ceased to sell it. Thankfully, there's Amazon. This coffee is excellent. I particularly enjoy medium/light roasts, and this one does not disappoint. Not greasy, which is great for cleaning out my grinder. Smooth taste and very, very convenient packaging. A resealable zipper - why has no one done this sooner! SO much better than fussing with tape or twist-ties. On top of that, I appreciate that it is allegedly 'ethical', though who can really prove that aspect...

One of the most perfect coffees I have ever enjoyed....the acidity is sheer perfection the taste is heavenly....wonderful

The media could not be loaded.  I received the product and right from the get go I did not like the packaging i attached a video. I opened it, brewed it and the flavor was great.

I switched to this brand because the coffee just tastes better than any other brand out there. The resealable bag keeps the coffee fresh, so that smell of freshly roasted coffee beans never goes away. Yum! The coffee beans stay fresh for longer, which is so important for a better cup of coffee. I'm also happy to be supporting a coffee brand with integrity and ethics; I checked out their website and the brand is trying to do very positive things. Honestly, why would I ever drink coffee from another brand! Even the price is competitive versus what I find at my local grocery stores, which all carry the same coffee brands.

I've tried quite a few single origin coffees, and this one is quite tasty for the price. It comes out smooth and flavorful in a pourover preparation.

It's pretty good. A tad expensive for the weight shipped. I like Tinyfootprint medium roast a bit better, and I can get it in 3# sacks. Still, this is a very tasty brew (I pull espresso shots and make Lattés almost exclusively. No sugar (generally) so I like a little sweetness to the bean. This has it. Yum.

Kickinghorse Smart Ass coffee beans (Medium roast) are my go to coffee. I purchased this when the Kickinghorse was priced too high. Both coffees are medium roast but this one was a bit darker than the Kickinghorse. When I went back to the Kickinghorse I missed the Ethical Bean a bit. They didn't blend together well, but this is the coffee I buy when my preferred Kickinghorse coffee is unavailable.

I want medium to medium dark in roast intensity, and the roasting duration to be fast. I don't want slow roasts that do medium intensity in 45 minutes instead of 20 minutes, which results in a smooth and stale-tasting coffee. Fortunately this coffee is not smooth - it's a 10 out of 10 for quality.

I love this coffee. It tastes great. It comes from a traceable and sustainable source.What I hate is that on March 19, 2020 I ordered this coffee for 9.99/340g bag whole beans.On April 6, 2020 in 18 days the price is now 13.47/340g bag.That price has jumped 3.48 CAN in less than 3 weeks. I've checked their website with no explanation of why prices have gone up nearly 35%.

I prefer the dark roast Bold because dark roast always has more deep notes but this classic medium roast is still nice tasting.I always buy beans and store them properly so to keep them fresher longer.This flavour doesnt disappoint.
