Although the chair arrived in two worn and torn packages--probably the original packaging from China--it arrived on time, and all parts of the chair were in perfect condition. There were no missing parts, and It took only 20 minutes to assemble it from the pictorial directions that came with the chair. My 86 years old husband, who had previously suffered a stroke, was able to use his new chair and maneuver with the side disk button right away. With his old recliner it took him about 6 minutes and much stress just to get out of his chair. Now using the button lift aspect of his new chair, he is able to get up easier and most of all faster.I purchased this chair for several reasons which may be of interest to others:1) The covering is made of faux leather. If fabric had been used to make this recliner, in our house the chair would have been stained in no time.2) The chair comes in a nice dark brown color. If we had purchased a white, gray, or tan chair, I would have to be washing it down frequently just to maintain its color appearance.3) There is no pillow type of headrest because the headrest extends across the whole back top of the chair. One's head does not have to search, hit or miss, for a certain "just right spot" on a pillow.4) The seat of the chair is 19" from the ground, not low to the ground like his old recliner; furthermore, the seat is wide enough so that when you sit down it feels "roomy."5) This recliner came with two cup holders. This is a plus for my husband because there have been no accidental spills with this chair.6) The side disk/USB portal is easy to use, even for people who get easily confused by gadgets. Using the side button for the chair's lift aspect sure beats pushing down hard on a side lever just to get the chair to recline. We have not yet used the remote for the heating and vibrator aspects of the recliner, but I will update this review when we do.7) The Relaxixi chair comes with two side pockets. For us, this has meant no more "lost TV remotes" or missing newspaper/TV guide.8) The price was right, below that of comparable recliners, and the free shipping was an added bonus.9) When adjusting the recliner up or down, the motor is very quiet. You have to listen intently to hear a soft, purring sound, but it is not annoying and honestly not very noticeable.I would encourage anyone who is looking for a recliner chair, with the aspects that I sought, to buy this one. We are certainly pleased with our purchase.

This is a wonderful recliner. Assembly is a breeze if you follow the instructions. I fell asleep in it the 1st time I tried it. And I was just watching TV. The message function is amazing. It hits your whole body with so many options to choose from. I'm 70 years old with a back back so I particularly like the stand up function. The vendor is outstanding. I received an email with tracking info less than 3 hours after I ordered the chair from Amazon. They told me if I had any problems with the chair to please let them know. That's great customer service.

I read and reread hundreds of reviews on many different websites for many, many lift recliners. I had to get it right the first time! I knew this would not be something that I could easily return so I debated all of the features and stules and narrowed down my choices by which features were my must haves vrses which were my wish list. I also looked at chairs with a wide range of prices trying to determine wether the more expensive models were expensive because they were truly better or were they just a higher price because they were from a more well-established company. If you are going through this same process right now, you know what I mean.There are SO MANY of these chairs and their differences seem minute so it is very difficult to compare them and really feel confident about your selection. There comes a point when you just bite the bullet and hope for the best.I LOVE this chair! I wanted you to know that I did my sue dilligence before making this selection. I had narrowed my choices down to this chair and another which was 3x more expensive. I chose this. Why? Because I couldn't see why the other cost so much. Not in the reviews or the specs. My thought was that if this chair lasts 2 years and the other lasts 4, I can still buy three of these and get 6 years before I'm behind. Of course I don't want that to happen but money is important.Back to the chair. I needed the wider seat, I needed dark brown imitation leather, and I needed it to lift my legs high enough to reduce edema. It checked off all of those boxes. I wanted infinite positions, it does not have that. When your legs go up, your back goes back. Not great for watching tv but if I put a pillow behind my head it's ok. It also comes with heat and "massage" (it's just intermittant vibrations but it is nice) and 2 cup holders and side pockets which I love!It is extremly hard to choose, I get that. But I want to say that with all of the conflicting reviews out there, know that this one is absolutely genuine. I use this chair, not my mom or grandfather, and I have used it every day for 2 weeks now. Not the longest amount of time, I know, and I will update if the chair dissapoints me in a short span of time. For now, it's great.

I got this chair for my elderly mother, as the chair she had was uncomfortable for her and hard to get up out of. She really loves this chair! It's comfortable, gives heat and massage to body parts. She is not getting her exercise because she's so comfortable in the chair! She doesn't want to get up. Chair came in 2 boxes and so easy to assemble. FedEx lost one of the boxes, so the seller sent out another. It was so very nice of them to do that so I would have it by Christmas Eve. We emailed often and they were very quick to reply. Very nice. One other thing; I have not yet gotten to sit in the chair because my mom won't get out of it!

You get what you pay for, for the price they do the job. Don't expect them to be a 1200 dollar chair. But they work with helping older person's get out of them and recline just far enough. Massage features are so so. But again your not spending an arm and a leg. Keep price point in line. They are heavy so slight or older folks will need help. Also put back on first before arms make assembly tons easier.

I puechased this item for my wife who was diagnosed with cancer hoping it would help her she used it once and passed away. I tried to return the itme as the back of the chair is broken and the spring in the seat on left hand side sticks up. I now find I cannot return the item. Please let me know what I can do to return this item as it was obviously faulty from the start. Can anyone please advise prior to me involving a lawyer. Thanks in advance.
