I am not the grower of a massive man beard, as it just doesn't fit my style and needs right now. However, I do have a "decent sized" one, and with thick curly facial hairs that never seem to do what you want when you want them to do it. I've tried it all - the beard shampoos, conditioners, natural oils, beeswax, wooden combs, etc.Having this tool, it acts the same way that women use hair straighteners to flatten out curly and frizzy hairs. It certainly made my beard "straight" after using it, and boy did it look different, lol.To get the most use out of this, which they do not provide the best details in the instructions provided: I would recommend to let the unit pre-heat up for several minutes before use, instead of the 15-45 seconds the instructions recommends. It does get hotter that way, which makes a big difference in its functionality.Also, you must use it in slow, firm strokes, pressing it against your face and beard - don't be a wimp, but don't burn yourself!For the low price, I would say give it a go!

I bought this on their deal, buy it and get a rebate for the price. Figured they would ask for review or something so here it is. My honest review.Thia thing works well for my beard. It heats up quickly and is easy to use. The safety prongs are nice and keep you from burning yourself while using it as they are meant to. The swiveling cord is great and the hanging loop is a good addition and made it easy for me to store.However, my beard isnt very thick as I keep it trimmed. But I tried this in my long full wavy hair, and it failed to impress me. The heat was nice and it combed tjrough my hair easily enough, but due to the lack of counter pressure upon my hair it failed to straighten it.So, for a beard, it works. Which is what it is meant to do. 4/5 *'s and I would totally recommend this beard straightener.

I'd like to say something good about this beard straightener, but it is difficult to come up with any positives.I'll start with the instructions, which were obviously written by someone who has English as a second language (product is made in China). As one of the attached pictures shows, the temperature rating is shown as "Fever Temperature"? The temperature is listed in Celcius, which is unfamiliar to most in the USA. The 110 - 130 deg C rating converts to 198 - 234 deg F, which is pretty low for a beard straightener. Instructions say that it comes up to temp in 15 seconds, which is unlikely. It seemed to take much longer, and measured temperature was 270 deg F, well above the stated range, but still low enough that your beard or hair won't go up in smoke.The on/off switch is a simple slide switch and seems very cheap. An LED light comes on with power, but does not change color to indicate that the plate has come up to temperature. Overall feel is light. The back of the straightener behind the heater plate gets rather warm - I measured 170 deg. F.The comb is very low profile and I really didn't feel like it did any good as a comb. The comb didn't provide much protection either, as I felt the heat reach my skin if I pressed in to make good contact with the ceramic plate. It felt very cheap and I'm guessing that after a time it will become brittle due to heat exposure and break.The only contact with heat is on the surface of the plate, so only the surface beard hair really had any contact. I took pictures of my beard before use and then again after a few passes with the straightener. Frankly, I didn't see any difference. I followed up with another straightener that I own and had much better results. My recommendation is to spend a few more bucks and get a quality product.

Great beard straightener for the price I mean $10 bucks? What’s not to love? I was a little skeptical at 1st about it but it definitely does the job. Just a few tips I haven’t used one of these before but it gets hot pretty quick. When combing the hair go slow. I was doing it fast and wondered why I wasn’t getting any results then my wife came in and told me I was going to fast. Seemed like a “duh” moment, but then I got the hang of it. Will last pretty much all day and the beard balm and the beard oil is a nice touch as well.

I've had my beard straightener for a bit over a week now. I have used it several times. I think I probably like it best for straightening the "bed beard" before leaving for work. The straightener has a bit of a smell for a few days. This is natural for most heating appliances and devices.The swivel cord connection is very smart and keeps you from tangling and picking the straightener up off the floor.It is light weight and very easy to store or pack when being away for a few days.I recommend this straightener and think you'll be impressed with the product quality.

I really like this beard straightener. It is much better than the previous straightener that Grow a Beard manufactured. The new one has teeth that assist it in straightening the hair better. I also like that it has two heat settings making it easier to use. I recommend this straightener.

It's awesome. One of the best things I've bought for the money In a long long time. First off wow the balm that came with it smells unbelievably good. Anyways, it works so good my beard is so curly it took all the curls out. If you already have a thin beard it's going to make it look thinner but wow it works great. I may have to change the color because it works so good now. Basically it's awesome and worth the money

This is a nifty little kit to maintain my beard as I attempt to grow it out in the time of COVID-19. Since I have been wearing a mask in public I decided to try and grow my beard out. Since I am a POC it has been difficult to do because it is curly once it reaches about 1/4”. The straightener allows me to get past that “homeless” look phase. I highly recommend this product and all GAB products.
