Solid product.
After years of being strangled by a slip on style, I did some researching and ended up on this brace. Amazing fit and feel. To the point that I am using it when just sitting around and have that achy feel.

Not durable at all wore 24 days and ripped
I only wore this brace for 24 days and it tore. For the amount of money paid this is ridiculous!

Doesn't fit correctly on larger legs
I like Shock Doctor braces - they're well made and do the job they're supposed to do. Unfortunately the wrap brace with hinges doesn't fit properly in the entire size range it is supposed to. Based on measurements I'm at the upper end of the XL range for this particular brace. I can wrap the brace around no problem and the wrap part fits. Unfortunately the hinges sit behind the sides of my knee which makes them stick out and also ineffective. If you look at the brace the area between the hinges on the back side is narrower than what is on the front of the knee. The back side of the brace also doesn't stretch enough to bring the hinges further forward. The hinges need to be in the middle to hit the proper location on the knee. If you have a skinnier leg or are at the bottom of the size range the brace has a better chance of fitting properly.

Great Support
I developed a severe case of arthritis in my left knee. We love hiking and this was putting a major damper on that activity. It got to the point where I couldn't walk a block because the pain was so intense. After purchasing this brace I can now hike 4-5 miles without pain. I highly recommend purchasing one if you have side support issues.

Full support for an injured knee
The crossing straps provide better compression and support than the typical wrap around knee brace. Also, the knee brace feels comfortable to wear.

Quality brace, but the top slides down.
I'm not an athlete, so I don't use the brace in competition. I need it for knee stability when going up and down stairs. It does that job well. Only issue I have is keeping the top from sliding down. I've tried strapping it loose and tight. Pulling up and tightening the staps is a pain when I'm wearing it under long pants.
