So far I am loving this trimmer for my art prints. It is much more accurate and neat than the lever type of trimmer. I am thinking I might have preferred a larger size, but that's on me.

Why did I wait so long to purchase this cutter??!!! This cutter is amazing! I received it yesterday and used it this morning to prep orders for shipping. It’s amazing! I love it. It’s light weight. I thought it would be heavy to carry but it’s not. Super light but sturdy at the same time. Great construction. The cuts are beautiful; super crisp cuts.

Works well and keeps everything straight in square. Sturdy and easy to use.

Bought this for my wife. I would give it 5 stars for quality and ease of use but knocked one star off because my wife complained that the cutting smaller strips were difficult to do simply because once you cut a piece less than a 1 1/4 " it is difficult because the clear plastic band stops you from being able to manipulate and cut straight. One feature this unit has that is awesome is the angle marks for making precise cuts.

I'm an artist and print and pack my own art. For prints larger than 8x10, I used a long ruler and a box cutter to trim my prints. After preparing for a big market and cutting many prints this way, I got tired and finally bit the bullet and got me this trimmer. I searched high and low for the best printer but I got scared of the negative reviews. This one didn't have as many and it was on sale, so I took the risk. I read in the instructions you can adjust the screws that may make the guides misaligned during shipping, which would cause non-squared cuts. After adjusting it, it works like a charm and I can finally use the numbers on the board, and not depend on my registration lines 100% of the time. I still keep those lines, just in case but I'm not as meticulous about it. I've been using it over a year and the blade is still very sharp and the cuts are clean.

Bought it used - good condition so maybe thats why im writing this review but i tried cutting 4 sheets of cardstock at once and the edges were rough which was disappointing after spending $170 on this product when i had no issues with my more budget friendly guillotine cutter. Its also possible i prefer a guillotine cutter than this type. Cutter would be good for cutting singular prints at a time but if youre looking to do some bulk cutting (which is what i needed it for) i dont think this is worth it. I’ll be returning my product since it just doesnt fit my needs /
