I bought this based on top ratings it receives and I was totally pleased with the excellence of this superior Italian "gravy." Wonderful rich, thick and succulent topping for pasta. No need to add anything to make RAO"S stand out as a winner that is way ahead of this other jarred spaghetti sauces I have tried. Bad part is, now I am spoiled to the best. Great product, worth the extra money.

This marinara sauce is by far the best spaghetti sauce I have ever had. It is so worth the price! I have been using it for several years now and wouldn’t use any other sauce. Everyone I have served this sauce to raves about it. Even though it is more than I would like to spend for spaghetti sauce I will always find the money to pay for it. I love this sauce so much I could literally drink it, haha! The thickness is just perfect. Trust me, try this sauce.

Without question, Rao's Marinara is the gold standard of store-bought sauces. In fact, I can't make a better marinara myself from scratch so I always use it as a base for whatever variation of sauce I want to make. Can't be beat and Amazon also often has it on sale, making it even more enjoyable!

Pretty sure everybody agrees Rao’s is the best tomato sauce. Here’s a little suggestion: I write the date on the sticker when I open the jar so I don’t accidentally eat tomato sauce that has been open in the fridge for too long.

This sauce is our absolute favorite. Yes it’s more money than other sauces but for good reason.

Two parts to the review. First the sauce. Excellent. Bought 5 jars for feast everyone loves it. Very expensive. Saved $3/jar by using prime with whole foods so the price was only outrageous. I think I can make it way cheaper. It is not very complex, just uses good ingredients and tastes like it. The second part of this was how easy it was to pick up at Whole Foods. I used the app, they tracked my car and were waiting for me at the pick up point. The clerk was cheerful and I was out of there within 30 seconds. So much better than waiting in a check out line. If you have the opportunity, try it. Just use the Amazon app and email check in and tracking. It may also help to pick up at a not so busy time. But you do your shopping at amazon pricing so you have to watch it! but you save a lot of time and energy. Great experience for me.
