Product looks just like pictured - with one exception. Although the dimensions ARE listed - it is smaller than I really imagined it being. The black shade does leak out the light - so it's not pitch black (with the light only travelling above and below the shade), but it is fine for our use. Overall, well made and will last a lifetime. Classy look (just wish it were bigger).

Perfect
I borrowed an older shade from another lamp, found this one and ordered. It is great and I updated my shade-less lamp with this and it looks great. Couldn’t be happier with a lamp shade

Black Square Bell BS-705-12BLK
Shades arrived promptly, in perfect shape. These are much nicer than I expected. The label says it is a premium softback shade (I don't think the info on the website said this). The inside liner is very nice light gold fabric (I thought it said it was a white liner on the website so I was really happy to see the gold because that's what I really wanted). The only downside is, as someone else mentioned, you can "sort of" see the bulb through the shade.But to me it just looks like a brighter round bit of light. I tried several different kinds of bulbs and surprisingly one of those fat round bulbs like you put on a bathroom vanity fixture looked less like a light bulb under there (the pic I am sharing has an LED light bulb in it). Don't know if the vanity bulb is going to be bright enough at night though. Anyway, the shades are such an improvement over the old "coolie" type shades I was using that this is not a deal breaker for me and I love them. Very happy with this purchase.

Great quality shades
We have had our light for years but couldn’t find a replacement shade as it had a finial fitting mainly used in USA, was so pleased to find this it was fairly expensive but worth every penny Royal Designs are fantastic would buy again.

Nice replacement for table lamps
We used these shades (2) as replacements for our table lamps. Even though they were packaged securely, one of the shades was soiled and needed to be cleaned before use. The larger shade was delivered seperately, unsecured in the box, and also soiled and required cleaning before use. We decided to accept the shades as delivered, but will not make any similar purchases in the future.
