Alderline Natural Restaurant Grade Lumpwood BBQ Charcoal for Barbecues, 50L

Excellent charcoal, ready in no time at all and no spitting or smoke. It's definitely best suited to open cooking where the coals can be shuffled, but can be used for high heat lid on cooking. It does produce a lot of ash, so low and slow aren't really suited to this. The ash produced creates an insulative layer on the coal and without disturbance it effectively smothers the coal and it stops burning. This coal is ideal for adding to a cooling bbq without spoiling the food flavour. My go to coal!

Excellent charcoal, proper charcoal just how it should be. It does burn slightly quicker but that’s because it’s true charcoal.

This stuff is great, it’s very light so I find in my smoker it burn a little quicker than other brands but it’s quality stuff, also arrived in good order lots of big lumps and very little crushed at the bottom

Sod off with your briquetts! Lump wood all the way, some of the chunks in these bags are practically trees and burn wonderfully hot and more importantly clean. I have used these on the open BBQ as well as int he smoker! Great quality, my go to brand

Terrible charcoal - do not buy. Burns too hot and too quickly, and has no longevity at all. Used 3 times on standard cooks and has no consistency at all. V bad product.

Very little smoke and burns well. Not cooked with it only used for warming bbq hut and gives off plenty of heat
