I bought this to make my own rheoscopic fluid ball for my science class. You only need a tiny bit of powder in water to get an amazing effect. I used it to show differential rotation of the sun to my class. It worked out beautifully and the kids loved it. It gives a nice shimmer and the powder will last forever since you only need a very small amount to get a great effect. Definitely recommend!

Works well and looks good but it doesn't look very red to me. It has a bronze/orange hint to it, not the deep red I was hoping for

I bought this for a craft project, not really realizing how much mica glitter this actually is in terms of mica glitter and, boy, is this a ridiculous amount of mica glitter. It's very fine and super concentrated, so use it very sparingly. I've used it in all kinds of things in the time since I've bought it, and I still have a ton of it left. I've used it to make gold epoxy for Kintsugi bowls, I've used it as eye pigment, I've put it in a home-made lip gloss, I've mixed it in with nail polish and painted my nails with it, I've used it as body glitter, and probably more stuff than I can remember. This is great stuff! A jar of it will probably be like 10 years of crafting adventures for someone, and I would definitely recommend it. It's an amazing product for someone who likes crafting and it's mica and not bad for the environment!

I purchased this to add to some homemade lipbalms to give just a hint of tint. This did the trick. After a couple of weeks the lip balm seems to get a bit grainy from the mica but I just need to tweak the recipie. The color is fantastic and I am thinking about applying as is to my cheeks. I tried a food powder dye for the lip balms but the mica was way more effective. I will continue to use this brand they were well packaged shipped quickly and the quality is awesome. One of the ideas with making your own beauty products is that is that you control the quality of the product. This yeilded a top notch product. I only used a1/4 teaspoon for each batch of lip balm which yeilded about 15 tubes per batch. I also mixed the two colors I ordered and am very happy with the results. SO it might not look like you are getting alot of power for the price you actually are. I barely made a dent in what we have and I made a dozen batches of lip balm with about 15 tubes per batch! That was roughly 180 lip balms and Still have tons of product left. Good investment.

I love the shimmer!! I purchased the silvery pearl and the sparkle and shimmer… all 3 are absolutely gorgeous! I mix them up in my homemade body butter and it looks amazing! Go slow add a you need or want for the desired effect.

Great product. Mixed with a thicking medium It went on ceramic like paint. Perfect art medium for paper and plastic. I used a high gloss spray lacquer to finish. Easy to use in a still environment away from wind. Probably not healthy for children or cooking (baking cakes).. I belive this is powered rock. A little goes a long way. It was not easy to find, with all the cake decorating products out there. And cosmetics. Thanks EKS

The is an ample sized metallic mica powder that has many versatile uses. Someone directed me to this color and said it was a nice natural tint to homemade lip balm, which is what I used it for. I used 3 tbsps of oils and wax and 1/2 tsp of this powder. To me, my balms probably could have stood to have more color. I will probably double my powder on my next batch. I purchased the metallic burgundy powder, amaranth. In the one ounce jar, the color is so very lovely. I guess this can be used for e variety of things. I would like to try it in nail polish next. To do that, you mix this powder with clear nail polish to make your own customized color. I have used this method by breaking up an eyeshadow and doing the same thing. For my first try with a colored mica powder, I like it. This jar will last a long time and thus is priced right with a good value. I already have other colors in my wish list!

Beautiful non-irritating product with a strong pigment. It's rich and a darker shade of brown then the picture and it isn't sheer. Just a little bit is all you need. I used it for my face in make-up. It's worth buying:)
