Adds water pressure to your home
I've owned one before this one and it constantly leaked, haven't installed this pump

Believe the reviews on leaks!
The media could not be loaded. I was aware that people stated that it leaked and boy were they right. The pump controller outlet fitting is an odd size and it's tough to get anything to fit properly. See the video. Despite loads of Teflon tape and cinching it down very, very hard to the point that I worry that I might break something, it's still leaks. The pump inlet fitting also leaks, perhaps even a bit more. Of course, this is tightening it as hard as I can. The pump works, as other people have said to come up but the fittings are very poor spec and have very poor tolerances obviously. Save the money, by the Simer Italian pump (search on Amazon). I've bought two of those in the past but now they're north of $600 so I decided to try this cheap one instead and boy am I mad I did.ADDENDUM: it is now 8 months later and I did get it to stop leaking with, as other people have said, wrapping the joints with a LOT of teflon tape. An absurd amount, actually. But hey, it did work. And when it doesn't leak, it has worked great. BUT, 8 months into it, the controller is now not actuating the pump with water flow. Not sure why, as the green light is on and it says "ready". The reset button doesn't do anything now. Also, unplugging it and plugging it back in does nothing. Warranty is only 180 days, so I'm outta luck. Bummer. I did purchase another one, but this time with the Assurion warranty through amazon for 3 yrs for 24 bucks. When I swap out, I'm going to take the old one apart and see if I can't figure out what happened. Obviously, something in the controller....

Great for the money
Pump has been used as a booster for almost 2 months and it is working great. Fittings are not NPT so they need to be installed with pipe dope to ensure no leaks.

Works great if you can figure out installation
Great value for the price. Works great, better than expected. However the installation instructions were next to none. Basically had to figure it out on my own and improvise some parts not included. Good for those with plumbing experience not so much for those who don't.

What a difference
I was hesitant about getting this, honestly didn't think it was going to make a big difference, but boy was I wrong.I absolutely love the difference of water pressure everywhere in the house and outside ,but my favorite is the shower.Itsfeels like you are getting a massage .The pump was super easy to install and looks durable .

Great for the proce
Works great with easy install. Seems like heavy duty quality but it is noisier then my old submersible pump

Pay attention to the reviews about leaks
I usually read reviews with a bit of optimism, but I should have taken seriously all the reviews that say the fitments leak. I literally tried every kind of product, from different high quality and heavy duty plumbing tapes to silicone to Teflon thread sealant. I had to take apart and reassemble this dang thing about eight times (which meant having to cement new couplings every time I cut the pipe) to finally get to the bottom of all the leaks. In the end, the only thing that properly sealed all of the threaded fittings was liquid Teflon thread sealant. But once all the fittings stopped leaking, I noticed there was a leak from the gasket itself as shown in the photo. Unfortunately, I installed this pump right before I sold my house, so returning the pump wasn't an option. I had to make do with that unique set of circumstances. I am very unhappy with the fact that I had to spend over 15 hours trying to get this thing to stop leaking. The pump seems to work fine, but the leaking issues overshadowed that.

Very poor workmanship
Had to take apart 4 times to get it to stop leaking and the threads on the output side are very poor. I had to remake the threads
