Love it.
I don't like leaving all my rods on the boat as I work outdoors and often want to fish smaller bodies I see while working. This allows me to keep many of my rods with me. I drive aToyota Sequoia and currently have three pairs of the three rod holders installed, but have room for a fourth pair that I am purchasing soon. That's going to be a dozen rod/reel combos in my SUV all out of the way! I've never used the suction cup set up so I can't testify to that, but the other option they give you attaches to the interior trim. This is what I've used and am very happy with it. Also, it's seems that small modifications could be made to make a more stable and permanent attachment.

Rod Mounts
Works good when the suction cups stay attached but they only stay on for a couple of days. Unfortunately I have to use the suction cups for my particular vehicle.

A GREAT IDEA
BUT TOO WEAK TO USE FOR MY APPLICATION OF BIG GAME SURF RODS AND REELS. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE ROD HOLDERS PART STRENGTHENED AND IMPROVED.

I bought one of these to go inside the canopy of my Ford F-150. It doesn't work worth a damn. It doesn't stay in place, especially on some of the rough gravel roads I travel to get to my favorite fishing spots. Rodmounts Sumo rod holder that fastens to the outside hood and cab top works better, and it will carry Spey rods fully assembled. You need to be scrupulous about cleaning the vehicle surface and the suction cups before you stick them on, and with changing outside temperatures and rough roads you need to keep an eye out for a suction cup coming unstuck. This is easy enough to do, since the rods are always visible from the driver's seat and there are two cups on each rod mount. I've never seen all four come unstuck at once. Any unusual movement of a rod, or rods (it holds two) may signal an unstuck cup. I've only had a cup come unstuck once.
