Spice Appeal Savory Ground 7 oz

Bought to cook beans. Doesn't seem like anything special in the bottle but it add a little smooth flavor to beans.

I ordered the Spice Appeal Savory because I was in need of new spices all mine were getting too old and I like to make soups and other concoctions that I think up which call for many different Spices. This Savory is really great , it has a nice aroma , very fresh, ground just right and the flavor is very pronounced when used in recipes especially in my Chicken Soup. I was very surprised at the size of the jar , it's bigger than any I have ever bought I didn't realize that when I ordered it , So this will last me a long time. I definitely recommend this brand as it has a great Savory flavor and no other added ingredients. The cost is very low compared to other brands if you can even find it in any store. This is a winner !

I happened upon an advertisement that had a familiar recipe. I dug out my great grandma's (1892-1989) recipes and sure enough it was the same recipe. This recipe also called for "green bean seasoning (Savory)"... For years, I had no idea what green bean spice was and it turns out only to be Savory. I made her green beans for Christmas Eve 2020! I haven't tasted them since before she passed away, it was spot on, at least one good thing happened this year!

I use the spice in soups, chili and stews

So hard to find in store where the smaller herb jar is expensive. This one is packed and is the same price as small jar. Great quality greatest price.

Really nice spice mix. Tastes great and adds flavor to savory dishes.

Very fine grind, great to sprinkle on chicken prior to roasting.

We have not had a chance to use this spice yet but it is very fragrant so we assume the taste will be excellent.
