LOVE this puppy
I'm packing for a cross-country move, and I wanted to get rid of my big old smelly couch before moving day, but I needed something else to lounge on until then. It's been many years since I owned a bean bag, but I figured a relatively cheap one ($100 max) could hold me over and maybe find a home in a little nook in my new house. The problem was, like so many products on here these days, there were SO many options - and the vast majority are white label products from random brand names that have maybe a 90-day company history. I spent an hour searching through legendary household names like NUTBURP and DR.DUDU only to conclude that anything under $100 was probably going to be a disappointment. Eventually I narrowed in on this guy (found a "Used - Like New" warehouse deal just a hair under my budget limit), but my expectations still weren't super high. I was picturing something like the bean bags of yore, less than half full of loud styrofoam beads and covered in cheap smelly vinyl. But holy cow - was I wrong! This thing is quite a beefer. Nice and heavy so it doesn't shift when I sit on it, soft and plush, MEGA supportive so I don't sink too deeply into it (honestly I barely do at all, even at 6'2", 230 lbs.), silent when I shift around, and it looks great and doesn't stink. There's literally nothing to complain about. On day one, I unpacked it and let it expand, then sunk in to give it a whirl. Snap of the fingers, I wake up in the evening six hours later with two cats on my face. One of them I don't even know. I think it worked. Speaking of cats, I can't keep the little dudes away from it. I have to herd them up every time I want to sit on it. It's by far their favorite spot in the house now. This is honestly the best purchase I've made in a long while, and next to my memory foam mattress, possibly the best piece of furniture I've ever bought. It's that good. I find it to be perfectly supportive and extremely comfortable, and while my wife liked it but commented it was "a bit too soft," you should know that she'd sleep on a lumpy pile of lava rocks if it were socially acceptable. It's also bigger than I was expecting. It matches the listed dimensions exactly, but still looks larger in person than I thought it would. There's not room for two adults to sit comfortably, but even for a large guy like myself, it's plenty big. I plan to get a lot of years out of this thing, wear it out, then buy another. It's great. You should buy one.

Great beanbag definitely worth the price!
Exactly what I was looking for. The 7 foot is WAY bigger than the picture and is large enough to sleep on. Make sure you have the room space. Filling is firm and comfortable. Zipper quality is not bad and looks great. Easy to set up I would definitely buy again.

Perfectly pouffy
Bought 2 of these for my niece and nephew for Christmas. Was a bit worried when I saw some of the reviews that seemed to show flat chairs. I shouldn't have been concerned, the chairs are nice and fluffy/puffy. They arrived in boxes that looked similar to flat-pack furniture but that was because the foam was squished and sealed in airtight plastic. When opened, it was hard and flat but I gently broke apart the "brick" of foam with my hands after placing the internal bag inside of the outer cover. Then I let it sit overnight on Christmas Eve to have it be nicely fluffed for Christmas morning. They were perfectly pouffy, though you do seem to sink into the chair more than the advertisement photos. They are comfy to sit in and the covers seem durable. My niece and nephew had a fun jumping into them. No beans in these bags but I think the foam is adequate, probably is easier to ship flat than the old school beans were.

Huge! Comfy too
First thoughts: Unfortunately it's too big! I measured before and spent days deciding which size to get.. lol unfortunately I went with XL for a bedroom and thought I'd have a nice size corner to stick it in but after opening it it's massive, and I am going to have to gut it and throw it out... No returning this big ass thing Next day: I've slept in it and woke up and found a way to rearrange my room and make the beanbag fit in the corner against corner walls and between my bed lol 😆 it's not hogging up my whole room now, And I can lay in it and watch TV like i wanted. I was tired of laying in bed watching TV, and this is a great lounge chair. Warning: It comes BIG so order smaller than you think you need. I would heed the suggestion that I've also read from other people, to open the package that it comes in in the room that you want in it.. makes it a heck of a lot easier to setup. If you get the XL version like I did you're going to need some muscle power to move the thing around and put the cover on and off it's heavy and it'll take stuff with it if you drag it around other furniture so you got to be very careful. Final thoughts: I cannot imagine manufacturing these, the people that put this together did a very good job of making it and then packing it carefully. They're very comfortable, though the shredded foam can be a bit lumpy to deal with, you can usually just kind of burrow in and find a comfortable spot. I even found it comfortable enough to sleep in overnight and I woke up refreshed for a change. I don't know how they managed to sell these for the price that they do because I can imagine it costs that much just to ship it so kudos to the manufacturer. Next time I would order a much smaller version and I think I would rather have the actual beans instead of shredded foam but I think that the XL version would be perfect for a nice basement or play room Update a couple months later: I still use the beanbag chair every day! It's my go to lounge spot after work and when I'm ready to unwind for the night. One thing to note, I didn't even get the cover put on the beanbag for the first month, and let me tell you having the cover on makes a.world of difference for stability. It holds everything together more firmly and reduces the lumpiness or need to burrow into the chair. I've not had to fluff it for a long time now. Still loving it!

Good customer service
I really want to give this 5 stars because it is obscenely comfortable, but I can’t. To start with it arrived very under-filled. Not only had it not expanded to full size after 48 hours but it was WAY underweight based on what was listed on the site. They clearly didn’t weigh it before shipping because the shipping manifest listed 39 lbs and it wasn’t even close. Customer service was very responsive and they gave me a choice between sending a box of foam to add or a whole new filled insert. Not wanting to go through the process of finding out a second insert was also under-filled, I had them just send the foam. That was a mistake on my part. The foam was not compressed when it arrived, and the packaging made it impossible to transfer to the bag directly. The process was as tedious as it was messy but eventually I had transferred the contents of the entire box. The amount was just barely sufficient. In the end, about a week after it initially arrived, the thing is great to sit in, super soft and very comfortable. It really does need to be full because it just keeps slowly sinking the longer you sit in it. The 5ft size was perfect for my needs, it takes up more floor space than my recliner but I expected it to be huge. The terracotta color looks great but definitely leans more pink-red than orange-red. The “corduroy” plush fabric is quite soft gives it a more structured look than the basic options which I definitely like. I have to assume not everyone will have the same experience and because customer service was so quick to try and make it right, I do recommend this purchase. I don’t know if there’s a better option out there but I’m sure there are many worse. Photos are before and after the foam top-up.

I love my sleepy joe!!
Very comfy and looks great! Mine has gotten a bit flat but that’s my own fault, it’s pretty heavy so it’s hard to roll around. It definitely got expanded a bit after I opened the box too! Overall it’s super fun and it’s been really durable for the months/year that we’ve had it. My sister loves it the most and always chooses to sleep on it instead of the perfectly good bed in her room!! My cats also can’t get enough of it

Perfect
I searched high and low for a bean bag chair for my son for Xmas. I wanted good quality but not over the top expensive. I followed the directions and we impatiently waited the 2 days to fully expand and it’s perfect. I wanted the 5 ft but went with the 4 due to lack of space but it’s huge. My son loves it. We take turns on it. It’s so comfy and doesn’t have a sloppy look when you’re off. It puffs right back to size. Happy with purchase.

Big, soft and comfortable!
I ordered the 7ft chair and OMG! This thing is huge! It’s soft, comfortable and heavy so be sure to take it in the room it’s going to be in before opening it up. The instructions to assemble are clear and it’s super easy to put the cover on if you do as it states. The expansion is massive! It could double as a napping place too it’s just that big.
