This device connected easily to my Home Assistant and is working great.

Awesome product. I use it as an actuator for a chicken door. It is reliable, I can schedule its operation, and I can operate it remotely. Much more reliable than automatic chicken doors that cost over $100.

I am sure that it can do the job but in my case, I would have wanted to have the mechanism reversed as it would not fit otherwise. It would be great to have the possibility to have the hook on the other side.This valve can be great but it might not fit all install

First off the valve works great with one exception. I guess you must have to have a stronger WIFI than I do. Now the app on my phone will let me control it no matter where I am. Can be miles away. Its working for me I just cant set a timer because of WIFI. Their customer service is very prompt and supportive.

I installed it correctly on my standard water shut off valve. About the 5th time it was actuated it bent its mounting bracket rendering it useless. This product is cheaply made and of poor quality. It has no limit adjuster and does not have enough torque for its designed application. Utterly disappointed with it.

I purchased this to keep my cat eating the other cat's food when I feed them remotely. I built an entire cage that has this motor as the gate motor. I use WiFi to open/close it over the app and I can feel sure enough that they will both eat their food without one going hungry!

The valve has a very short lever arm, so it makes it hard to get enough force to turn the water valve in my case...though might work fine with newer piping. Also had a hard time securing it adequately with the ratcheting strap piece to keep the valve in place, so it would move instead of the valve. Again, probably cause of my weird piping set up.There is a more solid piece of metal that it comes with that can attach it to the pipe, but that only works in certain orientations, apparently. Like in my case, it would have been trying to turn the valve the wrong way, assuming it could even fit close enough to the pipe to attach it.To make maters worse, it completely stopped working while I was still trying to install it. Not sure if it like broke itself when it was twisting out of the way instead of moving the water valve switch.So, it's probably worth a shot in some instances/set ups, but might not work in all. It also doesn't fit wider water valve arms, so would have to rig up a work-around in those cases.So, I'm giving it 3 stars, cause don't really know how well it would have worked in an ideal scenario. The app did seem to control it fine in my tests, before trying to install it. The lever arm is really short, though, as I mentioned, so not sure it could have moved my valve anyway, had I been able to properly secure it.Had it worked and not broken, LOL, I would have been thrilled, as it is a nifty solution to remotely turning the water on and off.

I used these to create two automated opening/closing devices that have nothing to do with water valves. If you need a motor/wifi controller/limit switch/quarter turn thingy, then this is the thingy for you! Let your imagination run wild.
