Fiber Grease Pomade, 7oz (210g)

This stuff is downright amazing, it's a water based mass produced pomade that really does wash out with just water but it also doesn't dry hard? How they managed that I dunno, Japanese magic I guess. I always keep some of this stuff on deck to use with other products. The hold is great and I have what might be the worst hair type to handle, razor straight hair, the type that grows straight out from the sides of your head and doesn't lay flat for anything. This stuff can tame that, makes sense I guess considering it's made in japan. Scoops good, spreads good, and goes into the hair without much tug or pull. There is a little since it's a fiber product but it's not bad. The only down side is the scent is kind of lame, a weird fruity smell but it's not so bad that you don't want to put it in your hair. The scent dissipates quickly after you apply so it's not like you're going to smell fruity.

I normally don't write reviews but this product deserves one! I am 20 years old and have a thick set of hair that grows quickly. It can be a pain to style due to stubborn hairs that stick out. This product is absolutely fantastic. I have tried a lot of hair product in my life(American Crew, Suave, Old Spice, Gels, Pastes, Wax, etc!) None of them have ever held up to Fiber Grease. A small amount of this product goes a long way with damp hair. All my hair stays in place (no stubborn hair) thanks to this product. The best thing about it is that it washes off so easily. 17$ may sound like a lot for a pomade but this thing will last you a while and make your life a hell of a lot easier. The smell might smell a little weird at first (due to seal) but it went away and you smell a faint hint of tropical fruit which is nice. The Japanese made a remarkable product and I highly recommend it.

Has a good firm hold and nice consistency but if you use too much it’s like glue and will make you look greasy

I've tried a lot of waxes/pomades/etc and I have yet to find anything that will hold my hair down as well as Fiber Grease Pomade. My hair is a rather thick, and seems to have a mind of it's own, slicking it back with a couple dabs of Fiber Grease keeps it down.It leaves a slight sheen, not too shiny, not too matte; in my opinion the perfect balance. A little water on a comb and you can easily touch it up as needed.After a day the residue is a bit oily, but after all, it is called fiber GREASE. Since it is water soluble it washes out easily without even shampoo.The jar is a good size, even with my thick hair and frequent use I'll probably get ~6 months out of it, well worth the price.

This stuff is great! I’ve been an oil-based user for quite some time because I hate how water based pomades crust up and basically feel like hair gel. This doesn’t do that! Yes it does get firm but also allows you to restyle without water. If you restyle without water the hold feels even more like an oil based. I also hate pomades with a strong scent and this barely smells to me. A faint whiff of in my opinion what smells like apple juice. It goes away quickly and you can’t smell it. Get it and you won’t look back!

I really wanted to love this product, and I’m sure it works great for other people. It just wasn’t for me, the washability was okay, I’ll definitely say it left me with a way cleaner feel than other pomades; although there was still a slight residue left in the scalp. The scent was nothing off putting, but it wasn’t great either. I almost familiarized it with the scent of dry baby formula. I think it would be a great value if it’s right for your hair type. So in the versatility aspect, it gets a D-. I have straight thin hair, so if you have the same, I wouldn’t buy this product; and that is an honest opinion from multiple try’s of this product with multiple fails.

What a wonderful product! I was previously using American Crew Pomade, which just wasn't getting it done. My favorite music artist G-Eazy mentioned this in a few interviews, and I thought I would give it a try. I'm so glad that I did, as this stuff is magical. It isn't terribly heavy, and holds shape not only all day, but sometimes through a night of sleep as well! It is water-based, so it will dry up after application. The cool thing is that you can simply at a little water and restyle if needed, or just comb it and it softens up while still maintaining shape. I plan on buying another one as soon as I go through the rest of this container. I'll add that for the money you get so much more of the product than other designer brands like Hanz de Fuko .UPDATE: Ordering another as I type this!

This product is amazing! It has a very good hold, but not too heavy, can still restyle even after appliance. The smell is rather fruity but the scent goes away rather quickly after applying which is great! The shine is amazing, doesn't look as if it's oily or greasy, perfect shine. Highly recommend as I will use this all the time!
