SUMMER MUST! I was very skeptical about a roller that would take the shine away, be used under OR over makeup and it's REUSABLE! I tried it out and was pleasantly surprised - it took the shine off, and when it came time to clean, it snapped apart easily and some mild cleaner, a good rinse and out dries so fast. I BOUGHT 2!

I don’t hate it but it wasn’t a miracle worker. It definitely removed some oil which was GREAT. But after I did a thorough sweep of my face with it, I went over it with an oil blotting wipe… and it still left more than I expected behind. And also - the way the ball rolls around in the plastic tube sounds like nails on a chalkboard - literally. That horrible squeaking going-through-me sound. So that makes it 20x worse and hard to use at times. I wouldn’t buy it again, blotting wipes seem to do the job much better (and quieter), but I’ll keep it on my desk and use it in passing throughout the day.

TLDR: This is a great replacement for those oil blotting papers and looks less gross and produces less mess. Wash with dawn dish soap. Honestly, I tried to take some photos of this thing in action but my phone's camera isn't that great so it doesn't pick up the important details. But putting this on only half of my face the difference is noticeable immediately. This isn't a cream, or any application, it's just a smooth volcanic rock that absorbs oil. But it works brilliantly. My skin is extremely oily, to the point I use the maximum prescription strength meds on it that I can get before accutane.. so even with those meds, by the middle of the day, my face is oily. This really convenient stick just rubs smoothly on the skin, picks up the excess oil, and is so gentle because of the nature of it you can directly apply it to the eyes. It's cool and soothing as well. The left half I had applied it to to compare was more matte, while my right side's forehead and cheek was glossy and reflecting the bathroom light easily. If you're just wanting a quick touch up this is an amazing on-the-go thing. If you use oil blotting sheets constantly, or used to use them but then stopped buying them because they're expensive and what's the point after a while, give this gadget a try. Side note, if you're suffering from acne like I do, my really quick 2-part afternoon routine that helps: Pick up excess oil with this thing, and then powder your face with a mixture of airspun translucent powder mixed with Mario Badescu Special Healing Powder (it's sulphur, really great stuff for fighting acne, and it doesn't smell bad) in a portable pump-brush and this keeps my oily face matte for the remainder of the afternoon. The price of this thing was right too, I got it for $10, which is less money than a month's worth of oil blotting sheets. To clean it, just rub dawn dish soap all over it for about 30 seconds, rinse entirely clean, and set to dry (I put mine on one of those reusable cotton face wipe pads). My only (teeny, tiny) gripe about it is that the handle is unnecessarily long. I wish they'd have created a shorter travel-friendly handle, because it's really useless beyond the ball itself and making it that big wasn't needed, especially since it doesn't store, like, a second roller ball or something. But I think they were going for ergonomics and looks here.

This is a very easy to use, easy to travel with oil absorber. It sucks so all of the oil like a vacuum which is kind of crazy. It also leaves kind of a cooling feel over your face when you use it. Works for anyone on any skin type. It is easy to clean and doesn't take up a lot of room. I would recommend this for sure

I was shocked that this worked as advertised. I can throw away all those blotting papers. I have crazy oily skin and this works so incredibly well. I keep it in a scrubs pocket at work and pull it out when I pop out to the bathroom. Touches up my face without ruining my makeup.

Ich habe den Revlon Volcanic Roller ausprobiert, weil ich oft mit glänzender Haut zu kämpfen habe, vor allem in der T-Zone. Der Roller liegt gut in der Hand, ist kompakt und passt problemlos in jede Handtasche. Besonders praktisch finde ich, dass man ihn immer wieder verwenden kann, einfach abwaschen und schon ist er wieder einsatzbereit. Die Wirkung hat mich wirklich überzeugt. Mit ein paar leichten Bewegungen über Stirn, Nase und Kinn wird der Glanz sofort reduziert, ohne dass man Puder oder Blotting Papers braucht. Das Gesicht wirkt mattiert, aber nicht ausgetrocknet, und das Make-up bleibt an Ort und Stelle. Fazit: Ein cleveres kleines Beauty-Tool, das genau das tut, was es verspricht. Für alle mit öliger Haut eine klare Empfehlung.

Ho da sempre la pelle grassa e non ho mai trovato nulla che impedisse quell'orribile effetto traslucido sul viso. Questo prodotto funziona a meraviglia: basta un'unica passata ed è come se asciugasse l'unto del viso. Ovviamente va lavato alla sera, come da istruzioni, e il giorno dopo è come nuovo. Provare per credere: ero molto scettica, ma sono rimasta davvero colpita dall'immediato effetto matt. L'ho ricomprato dopo 2 anni solo perché ho perso un pezzo, ma la pietra funzionava ancora alla grande.
