Good trowel.
I use these for archaeological excavation. They are the gold standard for that and they still make them well. Good steel that sharpens well and holds a fairly good edge.

Quality tool.
I am a DIY and works on smaller repair jobs at home. I bought this tool to repair the bottom edge of exterior stucco wall. I needed to fill some gaps between the stucco and the wall behind the stucco. This is the right tool than a painter's knife, as it made it much easier to do a good job. It is a quality tool; it is solid and well balanced and the metal has a nice bell sound when you hit it. Even though it is not stainless steel, I clean it with water and dry it after each use. I have used the tool several times and have not seen any rust yet.

Best mastic trowels on the market IMHO
Superior ergonomics and perfectly tempered steel. I've been using these for 20+ years. I prefer the wood handles to the durasoft models. The wood is easier to clean. These are not the typical throwaway trowels most people buy. You'll get many years of service from these

Wish the handle was a little longer and thicker.

Makes lovely walls and floors!
I love this thing. I work as an archaeologist and this has become my new favorite margin trowel. I had another Marshalltown margin trowel, with the squishy handle, but the blade was a bit thinner and more wobbly. This one kicks moves dirt and makes fabulous walls and floors!
