Must have
Not sure what's "women's" about a chain catcher, but it works great. Lightweight, aero, easy to install, stays put, works as intended. Must have on every bike with a front derailleur.

P.O.S. Just don't.
I put this on a shiny new Cervelo Aspero. The frame has extremely tight tolerances, and a dropped chain would ruin the paint. Guess what. The damn thing doesn't work. I'm a meticulous mechanic. I had this thing adjusted perfectly, only a fraction of a millimeter from the chain on the small chainring. But somehow the chain managed to get behind the chain catcher at least 3 times in the course of 11 months, and the paint around my bottom bracket was scarred. The worst part is once this thing fails, your chain is trapped behind it, and you can't get it out without tools. Last time that happened I bent the side plates and ruined the chain getting it out. I took this damn thing off immediately and threw it away. It's about as stiff as an empty beer can. It should be a crime for K-Edge to charge as much as they do for this POS. You are quite literally better off with nothing. Do not buy.

Works like a champ!
This thing works like a champ! When I upgraded from an aluminum triple to a carbon compact double, I was trying so hard to avoid the more frequent cross chaining that I instead dropped the chain 3 times in the first hour. Constant frame damage anxiety and grease on my white bar tape was not gonna cut it long term. Ordered, this, had the local bike shop install it, and haven't had a single dropped chain in several hundred miles. Maybe I wouldn't have needed it after a week or two of getting used to the double but this was cheap frame insurance in the meantime. I got the black one and it's very inconspicuous. FYI the mechanic did say he had to adjust the derailleur a little when he put it on, in case you're thinking of installing it yourself.

Sleek Appearance, Easy Installation
As you would expect this is a quality product designed with seemingly keen attention to detail. Installation took less than 30 minutes and I am far from a professional mechanic. Since the installation I haven't dropped my chain so far and it's been about 120 miles with additional tests on the trainer intentionally trying to make the chain drop.

Why didn't I buy this years ago?
For a long time I have had issues with the chain dropping off when shifting to the smaller chainring. How many times did I re-adjust the derailleur, shift to a higher gear in back before dropping the front to the inner ring, pedal in slow motion when shifting, nudge the shift lever as the chain moved over? Well, this totally solved the issue. Unbelievably simple device. No noise, no evidence that the chain even touches it, but somehow it totally works. I had no issues with the install. Just set up the derailleur as usual, and bring the arm close to the inner ring. I thought I would need to adjust it, but worked well the first go.

K-Edge Chain Catcher is a great product
There is a good stretch of rode where I ride that is cobbles and uneven. I managed to drop my chain twice on my old aluminum bike. I have since upgraded to carbon and this was the one of the first after market pieces that I added. It has saved my frame and kept the chain from flying off my inner crank. Just make sure that your derailleur is the braze on type and not the clamp on. Installation was pretty easy and it gives me great piece of mind that I am not going to lose my chain anymore.

Don’t expect much - No instructions
What you see in the photos attached is it. There is a bolt and the catcher, which is about the size of a small pencil. There are no directions at all. All there is is on the back of the package showing how the included bolt fits thru the catcher itself. For $22, this is a ripoff.

Does the job
I installed a power meter crankset on my bike that was a 10/11 speed compatible system. No matter how I set the limit screws I would still sometimes drop the chain. It even followed the crankset when I moved it to a new bike. The chain catcher seems to have completely solved the problem!Despite tightening the bolt really well, I can see that the catcher has shifted some since I installed it. It's now resting against a bolt on the braze on. It still works great, but the single bolt attachment method is a bit suspect and may cause rotation after installation. The pro version solves this with an extra bolt, but costs more. There were no instructions provided in the package.I would recommend this product.
