THIS ANTENNA WORKS!!!
I live in a mountainous area in Twain Harte CA. The area is heavily treed and my house doesn't have direct line of sight to Sacramento CA, where most of the OTA channels originate. I think the air miles from my house to Sacramento is about 80 miles. I have gone though 3 antennas in recent months, all with poor results. The best antenna (RCA Directional) had intermittent reception and detected but not received 44 channels. The best signal I received with this antenna was an intermittent 71 and at night this signal would sometimes disappear.I again searched Amazon and came across this company named "CeKay". It had many positive reviews and what attracted my attention was everyone said the "customer service" was fast and reliable. I messaged the company, told them my antenna history and story and asked them if they had an antenna that would work in my situation. . About 2 hours later, I received and email from "Bill" of CEKAY. He wanted to know my exact location and terrain so I sent him my exact address. Bill told me he would talk to his engineers and get back to me. Shortly thereafter Bill emailed me and recommended I purchase their lastest model antenna, the CeKay Outdoor Digital HD TV Antenna with High Gain and Low Noise Amplifier for UHF/VHF. The antenna was $66 on Amazon and I had paid much more for other antennas that performed poorly. The antenna arrived 2 days after ordering and when I saw the box seemed so small to contain an antenna that would work. I opened the box, removed the contents, and saw how simple it looked in construction. I read the enclosed instructions and viewed the YouTube video describing the assembly and installation of the antenna. After the 10 minute assembly of the antenna, I climbed on to my roof and installed the CeKay antenna on my mast.....2 Wing nuts and attach 2 cables and that was it. Now for the test!I climbed down from my roof and hooked up the antenna cable, amplifier, and then to the TV set. I figured I would run the "autoscan" for channels just to see if I would pick up any OTA stations. I watched in total amazement as I saw the number of received stations multiply! Final total received station tally was 75 without aiming the antenna!! Unbelievable!!! I went back on the roof and redirected the antenna direction per my compass. I again ran "autoscan" and this time picked up 85 OTA stations!! Insane!!! I checked the Signal strength on my TV and several stations had strength in the 95 to 100% range!!! The best I had received with other antennas was an intermittent 71! Again..the CeKay antenna gave me the best signal I had ever received!!So here is my synopsis of CeKay and this antenna...The best most reliable customer service..Fast shipping...East instructions and assembly...Most important... THIS ANTENNA WORKS!!! Twice the channels and twice the signal strength of any other antenna I had tried or purchased!!I attached 5 photos to prove and back up my review!!Thank you Bill and CeKay!!!Steve

Say Goodbye HULU
We wanted something for viewing our local stations for news/weather. This is mounted 14 feet above ground to a 4x4 post from an old sat dish installation. Now pulling in 33 stations from Columbus Ohio area, 4,6,10, 28 all xstal clear. Stations are approximately 30 miles away. On a plus side, I used another splitter and connected to my stereo receiver and now have a large amount of FM stations that I was unable to receive before. This was a win win. Canceled Hulu and saving $70 per month.

A Great Antenna for the money. It went south!
I have been using the LAVA HD 2605 for over 5 years now. I went to buy another one, but did some research on Long Distance Antenna's. I took a chance on this HDTV Md.WA-2900-4G Antenna.OMG, what a great antenna it is. I have a stronger signal than before and even came up with 81 channels. I'm reaching over 80 miles in one direction with the antenna being only 14ft. in the air. I'm sold on this antenna.UPDATE! This was the very last antenna that I ordered of this type. I have ordered 3 of them. This last order worked good up till April 08, 2021. It started acting in and out for long range. I had #2 still in the box that I had ordered for a neighbor who was suddenly called to active duty with her unit. But #3 antenna up and dropped off to just local channels.New UPDATE. I have been in contact Carol at Cekay Service <[email protected]>. I am giving all the star's I can to these people. They have been way better than I could have imagined. Carol get's Rose's from me! My being a 2-War Vet. I don't spend time with people who just want to blow me off. They are sending a new unit, and I am thinking of other's who are out there having problems. Can't beat this product or Co. They have my 10 thumbs up!Here it is 2024, and the unit I have took on a lightning storm after 5+ years and the pre-amplifier went out. I had another one that was given to me that I had set aside, and I'm back up again. I need a new back up if I can get it. This has been a great antenna for me.

HVHF? No. Not strong enough.
The Antenna does well for UHF, mounted outside at around 30ft. Any claims that is pulls VHF or specifically High VHF are false in my use case. 2 important common channels (ABC and CBS) here in San Francisco are on High VHF which this Antenna claims to get.

105 channels! Cut the cable! Stick it to the cable company! Trash your Mohu Leaf!
OMG this antenna works! I scanned105 channels! I live in the San Francisco Bay Area peninsula between San Jose and San Francisco. I get HD crystal clear channels.I needed a reliable way to cut my $150 month cable bill. I prefer streaming services so I did not need cable tv. All I needed was to watch my local news and channels reliably and with HD quality. I needed something that can be resilient to trains, planes, and automobiles. This thing paid for itself in less than a month!!!!I replaced the Mohu Leaf which got half the channels. The reception on Mohu Leaf were at times unreliable and distorted. Trains, planes, and automobiles affected the quality...it was annoying. I trashed the Mohu Leaf after I took a gamble on the CeKay antenna.

It works
I put this up a week ago. It didn't work for me as promised. I get worse reception with this than the two other antennas I have used. That being said, because the cord was wrap on both ends (instead of being round) it was damaged. I am going to replace the cable (RG6) and see if signal improves.Edit Update: I ran a new cable (quad shield) and it improved the end product signal. The tv isn't breaking up as much as what it was, so the damaged (original) cable was causing issues. However, the antenna isn't picking up signal any better than my 9 year old uhf antenna with preamp. I have serious doubts that this can pick up signal miles away as advertised. Next year I'll attempt to upgrade another antenna and I'll try something new.
