SNS 1/4"NPT AC24V Brass Electric Solenoid Valve Normally Closed Water, Air, Diesel 2W025-N08/AC24V

I had bought this solenoid to replace the 10 yr old one I had that finally gave out. Though the brand is different the solenoid is the same and it worked flawlessly from the beginning. Install took me less time then wiring it and fit perfectly where it needed to go. Actuation was fast and there were no air leaks from it.

This is an outstanding solenoid valve. I am using it on an air horn on a vehicle. Far superior than the chrome-plated junk.

Used in-line with a sub tank in the bed to the hidden semi-truck horns under the hood. Hooked wires directly to stock horn connections and everything works great. Last one like this lasted about 7-8 years before rusting and locking up.

works well, this has been installed on a yacht, and connected to the inside panel, cutting off the gas is always a good idea especially if you close the bottle and cut off with this valve

The media could not be loaded. I used this solenoid to control gas flow to a gas lantern. Coupled with a SK-02 ignition control, they work perfectly. I also added 232258 igniter/flame sensor, and 232456 igniter wire.

I use this to control air supply from a small air tank. My vintage Kenworth has “air activated valve timing”. It requires a minimum of 60 psi constant when starting in the morning or the timing will be altered and cause it to smoke horribly. The truck’s air supply bleeds off overnight. This solenoid holds a 1 gallon of 120 psi for days and weeks, when the ignition is turned on and power is supplied, the solenoid opens and the reserve air pressure in the small tank, activates the timing solenoid to provide air for the valve timing solenoid until the truck system builds adequate air pressure to compensate.

I used this valve for sawmill blade coolant. Works great for gravity feed.

I bought for my reverse osmosis water system in my house. The old one was kaput after 15 years and of course the manufacturer in God-knows-where these days did not stock replacement parts for the system any more. This one was a bit hard to find since the system used an AC to AC transformer instead of AC to DC. Easy to install and the R.O. system is functioning again.
