Stopped working but was sent a new one
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my mom. My parents sit outside year round so they love anything to make them comfortable during the winters. Unfortunately it stopped working suddenly but the company and Amazon didn't hesitate to send a new one. My mothers incredibly happy, so of course I am too. Always buy protection plans or warranties. Definitely worth it.

Heat Lamp reliability
I had this put up last year in the fall in 2023 on my patio. By late fall the heat lamp did not work as designed. Only one coil worked instead of both of them. So I did not get the heat output as advertised.

Not bad at all
This item was placed in our gazebo and while it is not super hot it is good for hot cocoa on a cool evening.

Nice addition to our patio
It helps keep our patio eating area warm when the sun goes behind the next door neighbor’s house and the temperature suddenly drops. Our evenings can get rather cool but we enjoy sitting outside a while longer. It looks nice and works well.

Failed after less than six months use
Although the two we bought worked well at first one did not work when we put it up for the fall. It was used at most 15 times for one hour on average.

Does a decent job but I gad to hang low so it's close as possible while sitting outside in cold.

It’s too early to determine how weather proof it is, and it’s also sheltered under a gazebo so … There is no remote control to this item.
