Will this fit a 2005 base v6?

It fit fine. Easy installation.

Product discription says ready to paint. Do they need paint?

No they do not they come in regular factory black finish though I suppose if you wanted to paint it that would be up to you all in all it is a great product for the money.

Does this fit the 2009 Base V6?

Yes it does, great product to I might add got it for my wife’s car looks and operates like factory.
