I bought a similar item last year for when I'm out metal detecting, but found it a little limiting as it only had the water bladder within the 'backpack'. So I had something for drinking but if I then actually needed to carry anything on my back then I was stuck.So when I saw this one I knew I had to give it a go as there's still the water bladder (2L), plus there's two full width side/back pockets AND a webbed compartment on the back too. These spaces are ideal for carrying small and medium items around with you.Don't get me wrong, if you need a backpack then you need a backpack. But, if you need something that can carry your phone, a camera, small tripod, maps, batteries etc AND hydrate you too then this is a great option.There's room in the pockets/pouches for the above mentioned items, so it's really convenient for short walks/hikes or a days metal detecting in the fields etc and it's nice and comfortable too with wide shoulder straps and a chest strap for stability.It's exactly what I was looking for last year, shame I didn't see this one first!

The bag itself has padding and feels breathable due to mesh material.There is a chest strap which helps distribute the weight better to make it more comfortable.Gently bite the front teeth on top valve to drink, there is no flavour or taste to water from using bladder pack.The larger opening makes it easier to fill with water, ice cubes or sports drinks.

Straps don't fit very well over my shoulders. Still light and enough for long walks. Haven't use it for running yet

Total RUBBISH can not get anything out of it save your money and get a better one.

Lovely product but for me I couldn’t do it up tight enough so when I ran it moved around a fair bit.Also the end of the nozzle came off on one run and I lost a lot of water before I found the nozzle again.

My son has used this non stop whilst out on his bike. Great little pocket for money and keys and easy to remove the drinks pouch and clean.

Too small for me and no additional pockets so i returned
