I don't need eyedrops for my contacts anymore. Maqui is fantastic, I used to have to re-wet my lenses every couple hours, but I started taking this a few years ago and it works really well. My contacts are no longer dry and uncomfortable and I don't use eyedrops. In fact it works so well I sometimes have that thing where the outer corner of just one eye leaks tears for absolutely no reason, but it's a small price to pay.

I have SEVERE DRY EYES due to my hormonal changes from peri-menoupause. Maqui Berries are a polyphenol that helps with eye moisture. I just ordered another bottle......4 total now. Eye drops didn't work for me. Fish Oil did not work for me either. This has been the only thing that I have tried that has relieved my DRY EYE issues. I stopped talking the MDs and optometrists three years ago when I realized they were not willing to hear/understand the hormonal connection with dry eyes. Doctors don't know everything. Try to take these four weight loss but evidently they interacted with my medication and I had a bad reaction. They're probably pretty good for people that are not on medication or if you check with your doctor or research it online.

It's been 6 months since my LASEK surgery and I still have terrible dry eye at night. I found this about 3 months ago while desperately looking for something that would help. For the first two months I tried this, I took 2 capsules a day, and almost immediately my dry eye went from painful to tolerable, and now I only have minor discomfort and sometimes none. While part of this success is just due to healing over time, the maqui berry capsules had an unmistakable impact on my nighttime comfort level right away, and a noticeable improvement for my daytime comfort right away. When I ran out about a month ago, the dry eye returned with a vengeance at night even though daytime is usually fine. Now I only take one capsule at night and that seems to be enough for me, but the relief was again very noticeable the first night I got my order. You can't even imagine the pain if you haven't had LASEK/LASIK/PRK or one of the dry-eye diseases. This supplement is expensive but worth a try if you feel like you're ripping your corneas off by opening your eyes during the night. It works for me.
