For 95 Impala SS
Fit and works perfectly. Remember if you’re going to use a lower temp thermostat, you must have the PCM programmed to account for it. The car’s brain won’t know what’s going on, and can cause other drivability issues.

Works great
Installed this in my 96 lt1, works great. Keeps the engine at 180* with a 180* fan switch

Correct fit for 1995 Buick Roadmaster wagon LT1
Easy to install this 160 degree thermostat on a 1995 Buick Roadmaster Wagon. Has the correct rubber gasket for LT1 applications. Don’t forget to bleed air from coolant after install. When lowering thermostat temp from stock, the PCM should be programmed to switch on the fans a little sooner.

Failed twice
I must be the unluckiest person to ever purchase this product. Twice. Except there are many warnings on the internet to let you know that this "racing thermostat" is unreliable.I first ordered it last year ('22) to complete the rebuild of the upper end of my LT1 in a custom 97 Trans Am. After 3 moths of operation during a grocery run it failed to open and caused the engine to overheat. I thought I caught it just in time but the damage was done. Blown head gasket, warped aluminum head. After more than 5 months on blocks and about $2,500 in repairs it was ready to go again. I foolishly bought and installed the same Mishimoto product. After less than 10 short trips of operation I noticed the gradually climbing temp 15 minutes into continuous driving all the way above 230 degrees.I pulled it out today and tested it in boiling water - locked solid, no movement at all.Shame on this company - after many documented complaints they continue to sell this part that has the capacity of causing catastrophic engine failure and very costly repairs. My suggestion is: if you are in the market for a 160 degree tstat, look elsewhere.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
