I had the earlier version (a factory refurb) of the Ryobi One impact driver that I used maybe 10 years under harsh conditions before it finally failed.This one is an improved version with one welcome new feature, a light. The only change in the new one that I don't like is that the magnetic screw holder plate is smaller.I volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and use this for all sorts of things from decking to drywall. You can get lighter and more powerful impact drivers, but not at this price point. Also, the Ryobi One ecosystem lets you share batteries with all sorts of other devices.

Used it to build my deck and it worked well. I didn't realize it was an older model. It is not brushless.

I have used Ryobi tools for the last 8 years. This drill is the best. Price was so good I ordered two. I use them everyday.

My favorite go to tools are Milwaukee, which I’ve used for years, back when I first got some Milwaukee tools ryobi was super low end, these days I’d say these One+ HP tools are significantly better, this 27$ drill functions about the same as my 300$ MW drill in 90% of applications, only difference is I’m scared to drop this one scared the battery will break, but it works great has plenty of power and has a pretty rugged and durable feel to it, time will tell how long it lasts I use it daily for handyman work, but at this price even if it breaks I can buy multiples of them for the price of a high end name brand drill, also it has the same parent company as Milwaukee anyway lol that’s gotta count for something right?

Needed it for mower blade removal and it works great. Takes no time now for the sharpening. Yes it has more uses, but this was my #1 reason and I appreciate the feature for it and already have multiple 18v batteries and attachments so...

I had to replace my old one I've had for 10 years and I was kinda sad but the battery pack was falling off becouse it was shaped at the handle. So I found this I didn't expect much out of it for the price but man was I wrong. It looks sexy. It has alot more power than my old one and it's the same batterie lol. It's built well and the grip is even better than my last. It feels good in your hand it offered more control and it has a light that comes on when your working that I didn't think I would need but it has proven useful. The speed you should watch out for tho it goes so fast that some times I sink my screws too much.
