Get different anchors!
Love how they fold flat against the wall and don't stick out too far. They also have nice soft bumpers on them so they don't scratch your craft. But the anchors included are horrible. My friend talked me into getting those rivet anchors and they held up much firmer than the one we screwed into the 2x4. Get the upgraded anchors!

Great hooks garbage screws
Hooks are great and this is a great value. The mounting screws are garbage, soft and strip easy. We are talking about stripping with the right size bit, in a drywall anchor. I ended up using some 3" spax deck screws I had and they worked perfectly. If you buy this I would just plan on throwing away the cheap screws/anchors and using your own. Would recommend if you have tight space and want to use the feature to fold into a wall. I have plenty of space in the garage and don't need the folding function. If I were to buy them again I would probably go the route of the non folding ones since you can mount all holes directly into a stud. The manufacturer mentions you will probably have one in a stud and one in a drywall anchor and for most situations they are right. Just takes a little more time to install and I would have liked the stability of all being in a stud. Better screws would give this a 5 star review and really a great option if you like a folding/swivelling rack.

A solid kayak rack for the price.
I purchased this kayak mount in order to secure an AIRE Super Lynx kayak onto a garage wall. I agree with other reviewers that the mounts are not made to screw into a 2x4 wall studs. You can get one screw into a stud but not the second one. I had to make two mounts from a 2x4 and using lag bolts to anchor them to the studs. I'm a perfectionist so it took me about an hour to cut, sand, drill and varnish the four wood anchor brackets and then secure the kayak mounts with 1 1/2" T25 head wood screws. An added benefit of using the wood blocks is that they allow the kayak to be tipped back slightly so it doesn't fall forward while while I'm securing the safety cord around it and to the hook on the wall. If I had to make a purchasing decision again for a kayak mount I would buy the same one and make more mounts. The metal pipe, the anchor bracket and the pads are of good quality. I gave it a four-star rating only because of the way the brackets were designed. The rack worked out well for me.

Quality racks, some room for improvement
These racks are very strong and easy to install. The instructions included were clear. The folding feature of them is great, and allows us to stack our kayaks a little closer than we could otherwise.Their customer service is wonderful. I sent them a Twitter message that they immediately responded to, and they put me in touch with someone who could help me. The let me know what the best product was for my kayaks, but also how I could safely use these since we wanted something that folded. I would feel comfortable buying any other racks from this brand.Room for improvement: more padding/cushion to prevent putting pressure on the kayak. They tend to leave a slight yellow smudge on the yaks if you put them on wet (which it says not to do, but that is challenging). The opening could be a little larger, as it is a tight fit for Hobie Revolution 11's.

Great product, does exactly what it needs to
Great product, does exactly what it needs to. The reason it got 4 stars is because the anchors that they give you to use in drywall are the worst possible kind. They immediately stripped out of the wall leaving a large hole (and this was in 5/8" drywall). The reason you need to use the anchors is because the holes in the mount are just far enough apart that you cannot get them both into a standard 2x4. After fussing with them for awhile I was able to get both anchors on the mount angled into a single 2x4. This however left me with some holes to patch. I was going to utilize the hanger underneath for bikes, but decided that it was too tall for my wife to get her kayak in and out of. I left those for the paddles.

Good Kayak Storage Hooks
I ordered this Suspenz Folding Wall Kayak Mount for my daughters youth kayak. The rack works perfectly and is exactly what we expected. The box consists of the two j hooks and the mounting hardware (no extra pieces that must be put together first). The actual mounting of the hooks ended up taking more time than my husband and I expected. Mounting these is a two person job that requires at least three hands to start each of these hooks. We were a little annoyed with the mounting of these hooks because we spent just as much time mounting one of thes as we did mounting two sets of the Suspenz Big EZ Racks. Other than the difficult mounting we couldn't be happier with this product.

... Suspenz Folding Wall Mount kayak rack to be a good, sturdy rack
I found the Suspenz Folding Wall Mount kayak rack to be a good, sturdy rack. It was easy to install on my cement block walls and looks good supporting my 10 ft. kayak. The rubber cushions can be adjusted to where they come in contact with the kayak, so your kayak isn't marred. Also came with directions on how far to space the racks, for the length of kayak stored. In my opinion, this was a good buy, and should last for many years.

Pricey, but bought a second set
I feel these are a little pricey, but I like them well enough that I bought another set.

Love the hooks, hate the screws.
I love the hooks, we put it up in the unfinished garage, and inserted 2 by 4s between the joists so the brackets will be spaced properly. The hooks should be apart a distance that is 40% of your kayak length. My kayak is 108 inches long, so the hooks are 43 inches apart.I deducted one star for the cheap screws. Others warned the screws are cheap, but I didnโt understand what they meant. When it gets tough to finish drilling the screws in, the head of the screws are soft enough that they are stripped. And then you cannot get the screw further in, and you cannot get it out. Do yourself a favour, to avoid headaches, go to your hardware store and buy decent screws.Other than the screws, great hooks!

Like the product, but the screws sucks
Easy to install, the only thing that sucks about the install are the screws that come with the kit, made in chine Phillips head screws strip very easily. Beside thatโs really happy of the product

Ease of storage
I really like the look and convenience of these racks. They were very easy to install but like most of the reviews I`ve seen the screws are very poor quality and stripped right away so had to buy better ones. Replace the screws with better ones and you`ll get a 5 stars.

tight fit for thicker white water kayaks, still works but cannot use lower paddle rack
Good material and durability, should last for several years to come. Price was decent and would have been more with it if I was able to use the paddle racks. I own two white water kayaks which are thicker then lake kayaks. I found the racks still fit my kayaks but due to them being thicker, I had to space the mounts further apart then my paddles are long. Because of this issue I cannot hang my paddles beneath my kayak on the dedicated paddle mounts.

Awesome kayak wall mounting system
This is a great kayak wall mounting system. I have a Delta 14 and it holds it onto the wall perfectly. It's easy to install, only need a measuring tape and a drill. It's made of good heavy metal, it's durable, it swings in flat to the wall if not in use, and it looks like it's worth more than we have to pay :) The price is great for the good quality. This is all you need for mounting your kayak.
