Sturdy, warm and comfortable.
One week of use everyday so I can't say how they would fare with age. However, these are good, warm boots that seem to be sturdy enough. The sole is good and firm and the feel is one of support and decent protection. The uppers are quite thick and give the feel that your feet are again well protected. There is a good, padded tongue that makes them comfortable around the ankle and shin.I have used Magnums before and I would go for the Grafters for sturdiness at the slight expense of a little more weight.I would look for these again when a fresh set of boots are needed.

Good work boots.
Because of my job I need to be on my feet some 10 hours a day, in all conditions and all kinds of surfaces. These boots have been so far (3 years) very reliable, once I got used to their bulk and weight and put extra insoles in, as I have long but not especially bulky feet. I'm happy with this pair but next time I will be buying "tactical" boots, as they tend to be a lot lighter. Still, these are great work boots, the leather hasn't cracked and I think I can easily squeeze 18 months out them, if not more.

Better than many boots twice the price!!
I have always been very particular about the boots that I buy and a year ago, I would not have considered buying a pair of boots this cheap. I use these boots solely for my evening walk / cross country run across the moors with my dog and for 20 years I have always bought para boots, but over recent years, the quality of these has declined significantly.By comparison, these boots are amazing! In the past I have had boots which have failed with just a few weeks wearing, but more than 9 months after buying them, having used them every single day, they barely show any signs of wear! I have replaced the laces, (but only recently) and do not polish them as often as I should, but with a brief clean, a good coat of wax and a quick buffing, they come up looking almost new. The soles show very little evidence of wear, despite having covered in the region of 1000 miles, mostly over rough, unforgiving terrain.I would highly recommend these boots to anyone and will be buying another pair as spares - surely my current boots can't last forever... Can they?

surprisingly good quality despite the price
I bought these as part of a costume but I am never actually comfortable in boots. These are actually quite comfortable on me and I can walk for an hour or so at a time without feeling discomfort. I would still recommend comfy thick socks just in case.Good quality which I found surprising as they were the cheapest boots I could find of a similar style. Waterproof thus far and the steel toes can take a real beating. The one complaint I would have is these might be slightly bigger than expected, I accidentally ordered one size too small (I'm a 9 and I ordered an 8) and they fit me absolutely fine. Now this worked out in my favour but somebody else might find this a problem. Also for anyone's reference the laces are 160cm long.

Fantastic boots but POOR DELIVERY
Fantastic boots but POOR DELIVERY !! still shows on my orders ( on its way ) yet a neighbour just knocked my door and gave me the boots and said they arrived yesterday !! no card under my door no card in my letter box. AMAZON I know you vet these reviews before you allow them on your page so sort it out !!Going back to the boots .... The boots are great its all I wear for work, festivals, gigs, on my bike and general use. They last me around 30 months, yea they might crack, yes the odd boot lace hole may become detached , if you want a pair of boots that you think will last you 5 years then big deeper into your pocket. These boots for just under £40.00 will serve you well how many £40.00 are you going to spend every Saturday night ? think about it ..... Only boots for me, comfort, waterproof, look good, good sole, fabric at the sides help with driving as they flex as you bend your foot. £40.00 quality boots its a no brainer.

Better than expected, and a good fit
I'm very impressed with these boots, comfortable and light. I noticed some people mention that they're bigger than the UK standard. I actually found them to be slightly smaller than my previous boots of a different brand at size 10, and I have quite wide feet. So I think it's best to stick to whatever your normal size is.Obviously I haven't put them to the test yet, but I'm sure they'll do fine. I hope they continue to make these as I'd definitely buy another pair.

Really happy with the boots
I found these boots to be slightly large, but nothing a pair of walking socks or an insole wont fix.I have worn these now for 3 13 hour shifts plus 40 mins driving each way with no blisters, they have suppled well already in the Achilles area and toes. they are comfortable with enough feeling to drive with no problems at all. They are warm enough on cold night shifts when you go out for a breath of 'fresh' air, but in a hot A&E Dept. your feet don't boil so for me these are perfect. there were no sweat patches on my socks when I took them off some 14 hours after putting them on so really happy. At this price if they last 18-24 months I will be very happy and replace with more. much better IMHO than magnums, which are stiffer in the heel and sole.

Comfy and good fit
The boots are comfy and fit really well with combat trousers and even normal Jean's.Be aware you will need to undo the top half of the laces before putting on otherwise it's a tight fit.The shoe sizes are correct unlike a lot of other places online.
