Does anybody know if this exhaust kit will fit a 1997 honda civic sedan 1.6 w/out vtec? amazon says 'yes' but it's not listed on the walker website.

It will fit with a little modification. To answer your question however Amazon list a resonator/pipe that works without any modification for a 1997....1.6. I found that out after purchasing the 46943.

will it fit a 99 4 door lx?

It fit both my 1997 EX sedan and my 1998 EX sedan.

I have a 99 civic EX coupe and by the image this should fit correctly. Are there any mods that have to be performed that I can not see

We purchased this for our 2000 civic ex and it bolted right on with no mods needed. Hope this helps!
