Tales from the Midnight Masquerade: Coloring Book (Hanna Karlzon)

I love this book from the quality of paper, binding, size, cover to the pictures. I had seen this book reviewed many times on YouTube and never thought much of it. Then I saw a review from a YouTuber that said that she bought this book on a whim but after getting it, holding it and flipping through it, she loved it. She said if you are on undecided about this book, get it. You won’t be disappointed. I always wanted a hardback coloring book so I checked for it and it was on sale at the time so I bought it. I loved it and now have 6 Hanna Karlzon books and feel the same about all of them. Although I made not love every picture, every single picture in those books calls to me to color it. I look at the page and know how I want to color it. That YouTubers advice was spot on! If you are unsure if you want this book or not, just do it, I think you will be pleased.

My favorite coloring book so far. Paper is good quality. Art is fun and engaging. I will buy all Hanna Karlzon’s coloring books.

The artist is from Sweden and the pictures are detailed so if you like highly detailed and beautiful pictures, BUY THESE!!! 🤍🫶🏻

I can absolutely see how you might be disappointed if you received this book, and we're expecting something similar to Ms. Karlzon's previous books. I've included a picture to show you the size difference.If you follow Hannah's work, you'll know she recently switched publishers, and they've decided to try out a new, smaller format. I personally like the smaller size. It's quite a bit thinner, but again , I don't mind because I'd watched countless YT videos of the Swedish version, and was aware of the difference before I purchased.My favorite part is the actual artwork and how it seems to tell a cohesive story. This is a book that I will want to complete in it's entirety. If you love whimsical, enchanted-land type artwork and Hanna Karlzon's style this book is a must for you.The paper seems to same the same as her previous versions. I'm not the great at describing paper beyond that, but I can handle most of the media that I've thrown on it. With the exception of extremely wet medium. And the images are double-sided, so anything that will bleed through it's a no no.Also, I was pretty terrified when I was told I would be waiting an additional two months for my copy (which I pre-ordered six months ago) , but I just received it todayWhy I've taken off two stars: the double page artwork is severely affected by the binding, so much so that I'm including a picture. I did not expect this. I will not be returning it as I am a collector, but this is totally disappointing. It's not every page, but the ones that are affected, are going to be a real problem to work around.

I haven't started this one yet but the artwork is so beautiful and I love that it's a hardback.

Another great book from the talented Hanna Karlzon! To everyone saying this book is disappointing due to the size and content, I wanted to share some information with you. Hanna has repeatedly said that she is finished with her first set of books and the theme of them. This is a new theme of books she is currently working on. Her publisher decided to go in a different direction with the size of the book, thus the smaller format, and the reason for less artwork is entirely Hanna’s decision. If you didn’t know any of this, please head to her Instagram or Facebook page. She has explained it several times since her first mention of the new book.I absolutely love it, just like all of her other books, and will continue to buy them all. I hope to buy her Grains of Gold book, one that does not have an English edition as of yet. It is a compilation of her favorite artwork from all of her books, along with a few new pages. Let’s hope an English publisher picks this book up for all of the Hanna Karlzon fans out there!

I just received my copy today even though I had pre-ordered so that it would arrive on its release day. Actually compared to what I have been hearing; apparently I am very lucky to have received by now. But enough of that, let's talk about this beautiful book!I was actually quite surprised to see the size of this book. All of my other Hanna books are a standard size . This new book is several inches smaller. There are just as many of her beautiful pictures in the book; the pages are just smaller.I honestly think that this is my favorite book; though I've probably said that about each of her other books. The artwork is spectacular fantasy as only Hanna Karlzon can do. Despite the wait time to recieve this book, you will be thrilled. Order it anyway. ...you will be thrilled.As always, have a most blessed day and color on!

O livro é perfeito , ótima gramatura , lindas imagens para colorir , amei !

Bonne qualité papier se travaille bien

Los dibujos son muy bonitos. Las paginas son gruesas entonces el papel no se troza si usas marcadores a base de alcohol, lo que si es que se traspasa el color. Pero si usas lapices o marcadores a base de agua no tendras ese problema :)

Comme toujours j'adore les livres de colo de cette illustratrice de plus papier de bonne qualité !
