Clarkson Potter Bless Your Heart: 200 Trivia Questions to Prove Your Southern Know-How
S**I
I'd seriously question if this deck is as definitively southern as they claim, y'all.
1/3 of the way through the cards and i haven't seen a single question about collards, chitlins, crawdads, poke salad, lynyrd skynyrd, doc watson, or dale earnhardt... just. sayin'. Bless YOUR hearts Garden and Gun, but this seems a mite bookishly gentrified vs authentically chicken fried... will update review as i progress.Updated Review. Deck Finished. 1 additional star awarded, and that, only because I can't give a 1/2 star. The questions did improve... ever so slightly. The answer choices, however, did not. Quite often, the incorrect answers were not located in The South and/or were obviously not placed in the time being questioned. Which means even a carpet baggin' Yankee could get the question correct, just by process of elimination. And there were a great manyentire areas, and well known/loved cultural/culinary traditions that were completely overlooked in favor of the authors' seemingly somewhat rarified views....Save your money and spend it on something much less uppity, and much more authentic...signed, a son of The South with pre antebellum roots. (We expect more out of y'all, G&G... I stand by my conclusions... Bless YOUR Heart G&G, and that's meant in the most Southern way possible... )

Perfect to Prove Yourself!
My husband, from Georgia, and I, from South Carolina, played this game together. It was amazing! This game touches on the most important aspects of Southern life from various Southern states and presents a challenge and a competition, that entertains endlessly!

Fun game, but made lazily
The questions are interesting and fun, but they were phoning it in on the multiple choice options and it makes the game seem like a cash grab by G & G. Sometimes it seems like they are asking which southern state is famous for ABC and then your options are Alaska, Wyoming, Louisiana, and Washington.Questions are fun, but answers seemed lazy.

Great game to pass the time
Garden & Gun always provides high quality, southern centric items and this is no different. Great game to play as instructed or to just pass the time hanging out with family and friends.

seriously Southern
Great fun, y'all. So far only through the food and drink part but a lot of fun. Brings back happy memories of travels, friends, and the warmth of Southern hospitality. And the importance of pimento cheese.

Not A Good Game for Southern Trivia

You don't have to be a real southerner to appreciate the material in this "game".Considering the unrest of our time, this brand of humor can be relaxing and thoughtful with little effort.Key to it all: ENJOY, without judgement or hate
