Very interesting reading

Quick delivery. Great commentary for an awesome eye opening book. I have gained great insight and knowledge.

Every Bible scholar should mingle modern and historical commentaries into their study. Adding John Calvin to John MacArthur can give you greater perspective.

I bought this because my Calvin commentary set includes Acts, but it was translated by Christopher Fetherstone who, in my opinion, uses English that is harder to understand than the other translators of the Calvin set. This book is good and has value, though it seems a little too casual and shortened than necessary. So I try to read the Fetherstone translation first and use this only for really difficult-to-understand sections.
