So much excellent advice!
I follow David DuFord on YouTube and really get a lot out of his content and decided to read this book. I am getting ready to take my exam soon and really enjoyed this book as he packed it full of solid advice for new Agents. The one huge takeaway for me was that he advised us to do what we are told from our mento! Having spent many years in professional careers and having a bachelors degree, I have a certain amount of pride and this book taught me that all that isn’t what it takes to succeed. It’s mostly your drive to succeed, willingness to put in the hard work and love of what you do, makes you succeed. I interviewed many companies before choosing one and I’m glad I did, but if you haven’t, take the author’s advice and put in the time to interview different companies to make sure you find a great fit. This book is a quick read with so much solid information and it’s so easy to retain because the author tells it like he is talking to you. I highly recommend this book to anyone thinking about an insurance career!

Packed with indispensable advice for the new or prospective insurance agent.
I am a newly licensed life & health insurance agent and this quick read opened my eyes to an entirely different perspective on this industry and what I can do to make a great living selling insurance. It includes numerous practical examples about how to evaluate the companies that I might work for, the types of life insurance that I might choose to sell, as well as solid advice on what it takes to be successful and pointers on what to watch out for that might kill my success.Though there are plenty of books that cover motivation and sales techniques, I've not found any other book that comes close to the completely candid, boots on the ground, advice for the actual day-to-day activities, objectives & goals required for a new person in this industry to succeed.

Quick Read with Good Information
Grest book and information. There were a few grammatical errors that made it difficult to read. Again, the information seemed very simple to follow.

A few nuggets
Mostly an outline of the steps to success in any endeavor. For the most part, not specific to the Insurance industry. There are a few hidden nuggets, so the book is worth going through if you have a Kindle Unlimited subscription.Nothing special, so not recommended.

Fantastic introduction to a career in insurance
The book is short and to the point. It should answer the majority of your questions if you're serious about joining the business. David does an excellent job with his honest and effective communication style. He touches on major topics of the business and provides additional reads to continue the research process. I also listen to his podcast which is very good.

Good fast read for brand new agents
I'm a big David Duford fan. Good for brand new agents but pretty basic for experienced ones. Read this if you are looking into this as a career. Could help you avoid some big mistakes.

The book has nothing to say. Just repeats what is clear for every one. And does not offer any valuable technique, any……

Sorry
Expected something regarding the training. He tells us to find a mentor. That’s it. Why a full book for that?
