Modern looking and flush mount ensures no wobble and quiet operation
Note: this product comes with a wall mounted switch to control both the light and fan, BUT you CAN order a remote control separately (see pic - you can also install the remote on the wall by the bed). The remote is: Kichler Cooltouch Remote Full Function 370006WHTR on Amazon for $50 . You can also dim the light and adjust for three fan speeds. The blade color is a light gray (it does has a faint sage green tone but barely noticeable - mainly gray). Flush mount is ideal for low ceiling heights, especially if mounted over a bed with an 8’ ceiling, and it ensures there is no wobble for quiet operation. I did hire an electrician because I wanted to ensure I could use both the wall switch and remote (since it comes separately).

Very pleased... and I'm picky
I installed the Kichler 30032NI Volos fan yesterday, and my family is already glazing over when I say "I love this!" The look is clean, understated and sleek. It operates in virtual silence even on high; I'm not experiencing any of the sound issues that have been reported (our previous fan had an annoying hum and vibration - I understand the concern). Fan functions with three speeds and in reverse. The light is slightly warm in color with a useful range of dimming and a bright maximum. Our previous 3 bulb fan never seemed bright enough, but we don't even need max with this one. The mechanics appear well built, installation worked just as indicated in the instruction, and I appreciate the double safety options to prevent dropping during install.I'm reasonably handy but not confident with electricity. I called the Kichler tech line 844-542-4537 before install to discuss a couple of issues which are not mentioned in the instructions. Help was knowledgable, friendly, and detailed. (My issues: installing in a three-way setup with two switches as well as a separate switch for fan only. BTW for 3 way function, purchase Kichler 370006WHTR for the second switch)Notes: the blades (brushed nickel version) look an odd color (greenish-cream) out of the box, but installed appear attractively as shown in online photos. The light dimmer is a little slow to respond. The instructions do not clearly show that there is a mini face plate on the wall control switch itself which you need to remove to get to all the controls for setup (thank you tech support for anticipating this need). I shimmed under the base plate with soft sturdy material (felt chair leg protectors) to make sure the base had no wobble/buzz during operation (the base plate is very sturdy; the issues are with our in house cheap grade electrical box).My first Kichler product and I'm impressed.

Flush mount fans have an annoying hum.
I purchased this fan back in 2020 but due to delays with remodeling and whatnot I finally installed it in February 2025! Ugh, how time flies! I really love the look of the fan. The modern clean lines really go well with my vintage modern design. It's rather basic in terms of operation (only three fan speeds and the light has no dimmer) but for the price I guess that's all one can expect. Although when I purchased the fan it was $292.00 after taxes. It's now selling for $212.53 as I write this review, which is a more appropriate price point for this fan.I purchased the black colored model but as you can see, I spray painted it a custom color to better match the décor of the room. I didn't like any of the color options the fan is available in so I altered it's appearance and like it so much better. The original color black is nice if that's the color you're looking for. The black is a matte finish.I'm almost tempted to take two stars off. One for the power control not providing a dimming feature. Also, the wall control that this fan comes with looks kinda trashy/cheap. The reason why I'm almost tempted to take off another star is due to the motor making an almost rhythmic yet annoying humming sound that goes up and down in pitch when the fan is in operation. You will only notice this if you have exceptional hearing like me. But after doing a lot of research it turns out flush mount ceiling fans pretty much all make this noise. It has to do with the design where the motor is attached to a base that is in direct contact with the ceiling. It's just the nature of flush mount ceiling fans. So since I already knew this going in it wouldn't be fair to this fan to deduct a second star. Plus, at nighttime I run an air purifier in the room which creates white noise that I like to hear when sleeping at night. This drowns out the humming. Awhile ago, I did purchase the Kichler Eris flush mount hugger fan and installed it in my main bedroom where I sleep at night and uninstalled it within days because (just like all hugger flush mount fans) that rhythmic two-toned humming sound was driving me crazy. I installed it in the garage since it was too late to return it.I have other Kichler fans in my house and I love them. These other fans have down rods (the opposite of hugger flush mount and are COMPLETELY silent... AMEN!!!) and also have a much nicer looking wall switch control. These other Kichler fans were also in the $500 price range; which is probably why they have a nicer looking wall control. Even though I am content with the Volos fan I wouldn't buy it again because I really don't like the site of the wall switch control. It's an eye sore but I can live with it since I installed it in a guest room.Addendum: I just learned after reading through the reviews that you can dim the light on the fan by simply pressing and holding the light button. This will cycle through the fan dimming and then reaching full brightness again. Just release when you have the level of dimming you want. I will say that it doesn't dim all that much; it's just okay.

Fan
I bought 3 of these Fans. Love this Fan it’s perfect for each of my bedrooms. Color Black & Brown Blades and Light is just right. It comes with a Remote Control.

Horrible light
Hate having to buy items like this online because they're not available to view in any stores. This fan is disappointing to say the least, in fact I think it's ugly. Too chunky and blades are darker than they appear online. Not able to view the blades until ready to install as heavily wrapped in plastic. I had been concerned that the light may not be bright enough, it's plenty bright and can be dimmed by continued pressing of the button. However the lighting produced is, again, ugly. A really cold horrible color and produces a lot of shadows due to it being basically a down-light. I also don't like the wall switch, a tiny on/off switch and equally small buttons for speeds. Reckon these will not last long.I wish I had not bought this and that it could be returned, I hate it. Too late for that as it's been installed. The installer was able to install it quickly and it's very quiet.

Disappointed
Entirely plastic, streaks painted on to mimic wood, not even painted all the way to the end of the blade. To top it off blades are a different color - darker - and not what I wanted. Unfortunately didn’t realize until completely installed.
