Factory seconds?
Unfinished welds. Cracks where it wasn't welded. This is supposed to be a sanitary fitting. I bought 4, and 1 looked almost finished. Repurchased a different brand, and I'll return these.

You get what you pay for....
Spend the extra $4-5 and buy from a reputable source. The quality of this tri clamp tee was awful. Sharp edges, clear ridges of noticeable weld areas, crevices from poor welds/not polishing and smoothing the bad welds. Even though most of these parts are sourced from China these days, they clearly are not all being done in the same factories or to the same standards.Some might not mind and use it for hot side process, but not even close to being usable for cold side process.
