After lot research, we settled on this, have had no regrets. It's perfect, and unlike most things made today, it's still going strong, we purchased these 15th 2021,today 16 June 2023, they are used 12 hours+daily all day and night.Our laptops are very powerful ones& extremely top specs, so they are fast & do get tad hotter because of it,making their surrounding surfaces hot. (Didn't know these fans existed tbh!)Since owning, the laptops are much cooler& no cpu slow downs, well not as much as without for sure. The surrounding area is cool, at the side is freezing where blows out.Plus the laptops can stand at an angle, instead flat down, so win win.We are used to the noise of the fans on these, but never thought they were loud or a problem. Perhaps, if you are used to silence, you will be irked to begin with.Its easy to control, and the extra usb is a blessing, the lights are lovely. Very pretty and ability to change colour, or patterns to your desire, is a really lovely touch. Plus you can turn them off .We are extremely impressed and happy with these, would never use laptops without these fans ever again.To negative reviews, claiming not cool laptops down , I would say, it's not a miracle worker It's not going to make your laptop a super hero, especially hot weather like this. But it effectively keeps it & it's surface area cooler to way it should be, and keeps it running effectively.Also, please make sure to clean this out, as it's a severe dust carrier and you don't want that blowing up inside your laptop. We either use a air gun device(deafening as it is) or cotton wool buds. If this fan wasn't there, where would that dust be going?So if you thinking on it I highly recommend it . We did order another 1 to see if better at read as though would be, but it wasn't as powerful, and the fans were in the wrong place for our laptops. I own an ancient Dell Precision - a big, heavy, hot early i7. I am very fond of it, but the last few days the hot weather has been too much for things that max out CPU for a long time. I've had several thermal shutdowns. It's not long since I cleaned the interior, replaced the fan, and reseated the CPU/GPU cooler with new Artic M4 paste. So something had to be done. Enter the KLIM Aurora laptop cooler, at good price.I knew I'd have problems because the Dell runs in a docking station which projects about 8cm at the back of the laptop. Absolutely nobody seems to make cooler bases designed for docking stations as well. Still, I could more or less fit both on top of the cooler... with one problem: the 2 USB sockets at the rear of the KLIM. I just thought it would have a captive lead and I'd not use the rear sockets. Wrong! And once the power in is in place, the docking station can't fit.The solution was to turn the KLIM 90 degrees, and then everything fits - except the laptop overhangs at the sides, and its fans don't line up very well with the case vents of the laptop.But, it works. The KLIM is commendably quiet. Even at max throttle its 3 fans are no louder than the Dell's fan. You can turn off the comedy edge lights (but not the blue fan illumination - hidden under the laptop anyway). Most importantly it has eliminated the overheat shutdowns, while generally making the ancient Dell run 5-10C cooler.Build quality seems pretty good for plastic, and design is pleasantly low-key. I'd prefer that the cooler was thinner, and about 15" square with 4 fans, to take the dock as well, with a choice of USB side & rear locations, but at least I can work now. For this price, it's excellent.

It overall was an amazing product it felt cheap but it doesn't act cheap at all with my legion 5 overclocked it can make some noise but I wear noise cancelling headphones so noise means nothing but it keeps my cpu and gpu at 60c whilst playing games like doom eternal 5/5

this does exactly as describes, work perfectly fine and has saved me money in the long run from having to buy a new laptop every 4ish years

A really good fan very useful for cooling down BUT the reason I didn’t give it 5-star is because I’ve had it for 7-10 months and the usb on the back has completely stopped working so only 1 works but that is the one that you use to power the fan so it would be better if it was more durable for long term purchase and use

This product had been amazing for working from home on a laptopIts kept my laptop (and thighs) extremely cool when usingThe fans run pretty quiet so you barely notice it's onOnly complaint i have is that the button to change the lights is kind of where my hands sit when using the track pad so i change the lights constantlyI feel this could have been put in a different place on the pad

The fans are noticeable but they keep my laptop cool enough so that its fan doesn't have to come on which is considerably louder.The RGB are quite pleasant.I would recommend this item.

On my ROG strix hero 3 gaming laptop I noticed that the temperature decreases by over 10 degrees.
