Flying Marvel
Virtually all quadcopters are technological marvels, from the tiny nano-quads to professional drones, the feat of flying level on four coordinated propellers is nothing short of a miracle that wasn't even possible just a few years ago. That said, not all drones perform the same, or are as much fun to fly. Well, the X4 is absolutely FUN! The fun factor depends on a lot of variables, agility, stability, responsiveness, battery life, durability, just to name a few. I've flown all kinds of R/C aircraft in my 17 years in the hobby, and this little guy has to be the most fun straight out of the box that I've ever seen!It does equally well indoors and out. You can fly it fast (FAST I tell ya!) or just sidle slowly around the house in total control. It has two sensitivity modes, one that is very responsive and fast, which is best for flying outdoors, and one which makes it much more docile, both of which are totally adjustable to your personal liking. Adjusting the sensitivity is intuitive and uses the trim buttons. When I first opened the box I was surprised at how small the aircraft was, and had serious doubts about its ability to handle flying in any kind of wind. I'm happy to say it can deal with the wind marvelously! Flying in calm air is always preferable when flying any kind of powered R/C aircraft, but this quad can handle up to about a 10 mph wind before it becomes a fight. I find the best time to fly outdoors is around sunset when the wind has calmed down and the light is low enough that you can see the blue and red LEDs, which help you determine orientation. In these ideal conditions I can fly the aircraft several hundred feet away with confidence.Battery life is very good, but it only comes with one. Extra batteries are a MUST if you're going to enjoy this for more than 10 minutes at a time. I bought this battery pack and I couldn't be happier with it. BTG 3.7v 250mah Battery & X6 Battery Charger for Syma X11 X11c Hubsan X4 H107c H107d H107l H108 Ladybird UDI U816a JJRC H22 The batteries in this pack actually perform better than the one included with the X4 and I grab one of them before I use the stock battery. And you can charge all 6 at once! It's also a good idea to get extra propellers, as you will destroy the ones that come with it before too long, especially if you remove the protection guard like I did (It just looks cooler). I bought these and they have performed well. Alwayswish 20pcs Transparent Clear and Blue Blades Propellers Props Rotor for Hubsan X4 H107 H107D H107C H107L Mini RC Airplane I continue to be amazed at how much abuse the X4 can take. All mini/micro aircraft are pretty resilient to crashes, but I'm surprised at how steady it flies every time I pick it up from a crash and throw it back in the air. Like nothing ever happened.I'm very impressed with this quad and I can't find anything I don't like about it, especially for the price.

Wingless Wonder
Let me start by saying that my only experience in the RC world was limited to the one's with 4 wheels. I briefly tried my hand with an RC plane that resulted in a 15 second flight and $200 worth of debris scattered over half a football field. Needless to say, that catastrophe all but killed my interest to fly something in the sky, until now! When I first saw the Quads, I figured my odds to keep something airborne just increased by 400 percent. I was also intrigued at the thought of becoming an RC pilot from the armchair of my couch. What more could a man ask for, right? I choose this particular model based on reviews as well as extensive research on the web. My search criteria was for a QC relatively easy to fly, light on the wallet, and most importantly, something insanely durable. As far as I'm concerned, I'm 3 for 3. It took me a couple of battery packs to figure out that proper orientation is key to a successful flight, unless you have talent of course. Now what that means, is it's far easier to fly when a right movement of a joystick means a right movement of the QC and not vice versa.I was very impressed at how well it maneuvered and responded to commands. With a 19 ft ceiling in my living room, I was able to put it through a pretty good test and not get a sunburn in the process. I accidentally tested the 3rd aspect of my search criteria, durability, by not turning off my ceiling fan. Yep, it got punted like a football and fell to the ground in several pieces. I thought that was the end of it, but as it turned out, I only had to put the props back on and away I went! (Yes, I turned the fans off!). The Prop guard is a must have!I took one star because of the battery compartment and DANGLING battery wire connectors. The battery can move slightly in it's compartment which can affect the flight as well as the trim settings. They made absolutely no provision what so ever to secure the wire and connectors so they won't hit the props. You have to either wrap the wires around a "boom" (not sure if that's the right terminology) or secure them with a small piece of tape. Some people are using small, self-adherent pieces of Velcro to secure the connectors to the body. Even at that, you can't wrong with this choice! Make sure you buy a couple of batteries, a few extra props, and turn the ceiling fans off!

Fast Delivery! Everything I expected and more!
I'm a first timer for a quadcopter. I did my homework by reading all of the reviews and watching plenty of youtube videos before making my purchase. The things that were consistent with this certain quad over the others..A great seller in Red Rock that made sure everything was included as advertised ; extra props, prop guard, battery and charger, and of course the royal blue h107l x4 also a prop removal tool not advertised ..A low price for a durable, very cool, and very fun quad. What really sold me on Red Rock is I read a review on a lady that bought this very same quad for her child. Well apparently the kid pulled a wire loose and maybe broke the solder. She gave the quad and the lousy customer service a bad review. Well low and behold, Red Rock happen to read her story, apologized for her negative experience, and proceeded to ship her a new quad free of charge. That's how you treat your customers. The quad itself for a 44 year old guy like myself is fun and something out of the ordinary. It's a little harder to fly than I expected but I made sure after reading all the reviews that I bought the main things i needed that didn't come with the original package. ThinkMax 4 in 1 battery charger and the Hubsan original 5 pcs 3.7 v x 380 mah batteries. These extra batteries fit better inside the quad than some of these other rechargeable batteries they sell on here. And they give you more flying time than the smaller battery that comes with quad. Now with all these batteries, I can maybe learn to fly it better. But will all that said get this if you're looking to have some fun. My 16 year old boy has flown it too and wants one now. I highly recommend it. And Red Rock, I'll be looking for you as the seller on other products on Amazon.com Keep up the great service!!
