Some years previously, the nominally identical product was purchased in different colours and for different furniture. "Homescapes Faux Suede Arm Chair Booster Cushion, Black, with Supportive Filling, 10cm Lift for Easy Sitting, Good during Pregnancy, Post Operation or Natal Comfort." is a larger 50 x 50cm size of 'booster' cushion that is suitable for use on most armchairs, settees (some) and larger office (management or executive) chairs. They could also be used on the floor solely for the comfort they provide. A smaller 40 x 40 cm version for use on dining and other chairs with a smaller seat are fitted with self-coloured ties to secure them to the back frame or uprights. Both sizes are also fitted with a carry handle so that the cushion can be moved from chair to chair or from one location to another. Although visually identical, this version is more supportive than the older which apparently used a medium-density foam and offered little support. Ultimately, and with repeated use, the original depth of 10cm was reduced by more than half. At that point, one was replaced and another used as occasional back support; the third was discarded. Unfortunately, the decorative buttons used had mostly and progressively been lost over time as the method of securing them may not be sufficiently strong for several years of potential use; all three of the original cushions suffered this fate to some extent. Hopefully, that will not be repeated but it took about 2 years to occur. Recently different 'support' cushions were purchased for use with an 'executive' office chair that now lacks the comfort it offered when new. Both were far smaller than expected (sizings were not provided in either instance) and would fit a standard dining or kitchen chair but nothing larger. They are similar in price and did not provide expected levels of support or comfort - one was barely acceptable and the other a total disaster with zero support - the decision was made to replace them with this. The fit is almost perfect (slightly smaller than the seat) and comfort much improved from the addition.

Ordered for elderly parent, they have trouble getting out of a low chair. Not anymore, great quality, perfect fit, great colour to match her chair.
