I purchased this item for a friend who is going blind. The extra light is helping her read her Bible and knitting patterns! I'm glad I got it for her.

I like that it's small enough to handle with one hand. I like the line printed on it. But it's too light and the color should have been black, not yellow. I had to go over it with a dark marker. The fact that it has a light makes it handy to read in dim areas . I like that it has a handle to hold and not use the lens itself. For the price, it's not bad as a gift for someone that can't read small print on occasions. To read pages, well, that becomes uncomfortable after a while.

The design of this is good for reading line by line. My mother seemed to be pleased with the device to help her see reading print better.

The magnified text doesn’t look like the images in the item info. The text is distorted vertically and slightly blurry. It looks like a completely different font. I showed it alongside my own circular magnifier so that you can see the difference in clarity. It’s just that the circular shape is not the best for reading horizontal lines of text. Will be returning.

Yellow line place keeper is helpful. Magnifier is sufficient with the light to help read small print. Handy small magnifier came with it

I ordered this because I wanted a magnifier with light. I received it quickly BUT after I put fresh new batteries in, the light in the magnifier didn't work. I sent it back and requested another one, in case it was a fluke situation. Sadly, it was not. The replacement arrived today and the light in the magnifier doesn't work. The product does not do what the listing says it does. It's not worth your money or time.

The small magnifier is actually very nice. Clear. Good pocket size. The only thing good about the large one is the LED light. The construction is flimsey, I doubt it will survive a month. The optics are terrible, the lens is not polished, so the text is all striped. It makes everything look like it was printed on a 1981 dot-matrix printer. Pretty much trash.

Light too bright. Yellow line helpful.

Junky plastic, distorted magnification.. don't bother. I'm returning it
