I previously purchased two VICSEED magnetic mounts—which I love—for my SUV. My wife, however, prefers this side-clamp style mount over the more discreet magnetic style mount, so we spent the last two weeks testing this phone mount in her sedan. She has been using it with her iPhone 11 with case as shown in the video. She absolutely loves it over the junk we have purchased in the past. (I am embarrassed to admit I have spent an obscene amount of money trying one style mount after another in an attempt to find one that works for her needs.) As they say, "Happy wife, happy life!"Pros:* The unit is shipped with two different mounting devices which should adapt to a variety of car vent arrangements. The device that worked best for us was the small, simple, twist-on vent clamp.* The padded side clamps adjust to any size phone and grip the phone tightly without scratching. The side clamps have a built-in ratchet mechanism that will not allow it to loosen its grip while driving over speed bumps and potholes. Other units we have tried had only spring tension and the phone would pop out on bumps. One unit which cost me $85 plus shipping required a screwdriver to set the tension on the side clamps. Too tight and we could not remove the phone. Too loose and it would fall out while driving! With this unit, It only takes one hand to pop the phone in or out of the holder—not two hands like some units we have tried in the past.* The side clamps release instantly with a single press of the easily accessible button on the lower left side as shown in the video. Again, it takes only one hand. So convenient!* The discreet platform on the bottom of the mount has an opening which allows you the option of attaching the charging cable to the phone. It is padded as well and adjusts up or down to your liking.* The holder is attached to the vent clamp with a ball-and-socket joint so you can adjust the unit to any angle and to allow portrait or landscape viewing modes on the fly.* We prefer attaching to the vent over other styles which attach to the windshield, dash, visor or cup holder. These other styles block your view of the road or as in the case of the cup holder styles, cause you to look down and away from the road. Besides, my wife prefers to keep her coffee in the cup holder!* Unit looks and feels high quality. Sturdy materials, not cheap plastic.* Although written instructions are provided in the box, assembly and installation is simple and intuitive.* The price is right!Cons:* As you would expect, because the unit is mounted to the air conditioning vent, the phone will partially block the flow of air from the vent.* On my wife’s car, the up and down motion of the louvers is restricted. However, the side to side movement of the vent is not affected so she can still receive air from the vent. Your car’s style may produce different results from ours.* Depending on the design of your car’s instrument panel, the phone may block some controls. On my wife’s car, this is not the case.

Hi all. I had an old Anker holder that would not support the size of my new S22, so I went to look for a new one and the reviews of VICSEED caught my attention and I decided to try. Product is great, well-built, easy to use and come with two different vent adapters, both very sturdy. Since I have a Mazda3 Gen 2 with the slanted vents I chose the spring-loaded hook and the two contact "floating" stabilizer. All works great but with a minor issue due to the slanted nature of the Mazda vents. I wrote to the company suggesting them to have a way to fix the stabilizer in a future version just because I like to help companies to perfect products that I like, I wasn't expecting any returns since it is a 20ish dollars item.To my surprise I was contacted on the same day, just few hours later, by Cherri, offering me all the support and even asking my address to send me an alternative vent holder that should be better for the type of vent I have. I replied with my address and in a matter of hours I received the confirmation that the part was sent to my address FOR FREE - remember, it is a 20ish dollars item. It is amazing to have this type of support for it, says a lot about the company and its customer support team.So, three days later the new vent holder arrived, free of charges, and it was exactly what I suggested, a fixed stabilizer. They had the solution already. I think it is not included with the product as very few cars have the same slanted type of vent used in the Mazda3 1st and 2nd generations.I decided to write this review as I think good products with good customer service are a godsend thing nowadays. My sincere thanks to VICSEED and to Cherry, who was amazing in answering my suggestions, find the solution and being sure I received the new part for free.If you are looking for a good phone holder look no further, get this one. Works great and have many options of vent adapters. If the original ones do not work for you just get in contact with the company, and I'm sure Cherry will take a good care of your problem as she did with mine.Luiz

This was by far the best phone holder I’ve ever purchased. It’s sturdy and I really liked the side button that opens it up to get your phone out. Really, there wasn’t anything I didn’t like. I have had this for a little over 2 years and today it broke. I don’t know what happened… I cleaned my car and when I went to put it back on I moved it to position it right and it just snapped. Not sure if over time the sun exposure might have made it brittle? Anyway, I really liked it while it lasted. Not sure if I’ll buy another one or try to find something else. I would recommend it I guess but just beware of snapping it when you adjust it. (Again, I adjusted it many times before and it never broke.) Just something to be mindful of.

I have two of these and they work well.

I was searching and searching for a holder that would accommodate a large phone and bulky otterbox case and a lot of them didn't work. This one holds my phone perfectly with some additional room. Very satisfied with it!

This is a well made sturdy product,But my ulefone power armour 19 rugged phone is large at 6.7 inches & twice as thick as a normal phone, so this holder only just holds it in place. I took out the side padded sticker things so it can grip my phone better. If you don't have an abnormality large thick phone, I recommend this as it's great quality. I'm putting a magnet on the pad to secure it better because it's just a little to big to be secure.
