Pelican 1120 Case With Foam (Desert Tan)

I purchased this item to offer protection to some gear I use at work, and it works perfectly. I purchased this one for a personal work item which fits perfectly. I purchased 10 additional ones to outfit my employees with company equipment. They are exactly what I needed other than I wish I had chosen the next size larger for the company ones. I didn’t realize exactly how small these ones were before I ordered them, but that is my fault and has nothing to do with the quality of the cases.The only complaint I have at all has to do with the pluck away foam inside. Some of the cases were extremely easy to pluck the foam by hand to fit the equipment, but a few of the cases I had to use a razor blade to cut the foam because it was tearing the surrounding foam when I tried plucking it by hand.

I originally bought this to transport my handgun when I fly... But it also doubles as my Important things box when I go kayaking. I keep my ID car keys and such in it.. I had not tested the water resistance of it before now.Saturday I went on a kayak trip. Normal run but I was a little over loaded as we decided to bring our cooler with us instead of leave it behind.I cam off a small class 3 drop and flipped. My kayak ended up ..upside down for several minuets while we floated down stream to a place I could touch bottom and climb out. This box was strapped in to my kayak snd was submerged on the stern along with our cooler and some of my other gear. everything inside this box was completely dry. Very happy with this.

There are few things made of better quality than this case. If you have anything of value that needs protection from the elements this is the case and brand for you. Don’t settle for anything less. Case is awesome. Pluck foam is easy to shape and remove. I traced out my device with a scissor. It fits perfectly. Highly recommended and it is made in the USA !!!

If you are looking for a truly phenomenal way to transport your SLR with a normal sized lens and some memory cards, or perhaps a GoPro with a bunch of extras, or tons of other stuff...this is it. Not only does it float, not only can you literally jump up and down on it, not only does it keep out sand in the desert, not only does it keep out water, not only is it pressure equalizing, it is under twenty five bucks! It has rings to lock it as well. I highly recommend Pelican products. Small cases like this only require two latches while larger ones I would only recommend buying the ones with 4 latches. Overall, it's a phenomenal product at a great price.

I've been using the Pelican 1120 case for many years as a battery holder for my fishing kayak, and it works great. So I bought another one for a backup battery. These boxes are very durable and water tight. On one trip I had a crack in my kayak and a lot of saltwater was inside the hull, but my battery was bone dry thanks to the Pelican box.

This Pelican case is amazing! Perfect compact size. High quality construction like all Pelican cases, strong hinges and the Pick N'Pluck foam lets you easily customize the interior to whatever suits your needs best. I set my case up for a GoPro and couldn't be happier with everything about this product. Highly recommended.

I actually had to return this case because it was way too small for my camera. I promptly ordered a bigger one that would fit my camera because I saw the quality of this case! I bought it because I go on ATV camping trips and want to be able to take this with me and not worry about my camera getting muddy, wet, sandy, or smashed around while riding though remote sections of forest in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I am very excited to get the larger case and try it out!

I have several full sized Pelican cases that I love but for some reason they ruined the look of this one by gluing on a label, adding a non removable tag under the pressure equalization vent and switching to a two step snap latch so the ladies won't break a nail opening it.It's as strong as ever and if you fly with liquids in your luggage it still equalizes the pressure to prevent leaking.
