It works, for the most part. I was on panotoprazole 80mg for three months just because of some stomach ulcers. I wasn't vomiting acid or anything like that. Most of them were due to too much NSAID (aspirin) use which I don't take at all now. Helped a bit during the rebound time and my bowels are solid, brown in color and easy to pass now. That means my digestive system is finally working properly. I'm not perfect and I probably never will be. But thanks to these pills, my stomach has never been better. They're not gonna save you if you have a spicy meal though, so you'll still want to use a tums or a pepcid for that. But they definitely make the effects of heartburn that you do get much lighter than normal. As the bottle says, "reduces frequency and severity of heartburn" and I'd rather have a little heartburn than a whole lot.

This product contains 3 excellent Ingredients that calm the burn: aloe vera, prickle pear, and DGL. These have all been helpful to me individually so I was very happy to at last find them combined. I take this product with dinner because that is often my largest meal and the time of day I'm most likely to need relief later in the evening. It works very well for me in preventing hiccups, excess saliva, and reflux. The product directions suggest with or without food. I didn't get the same great results trying the product between meals, and experienced continuous aftertaste. I am very satisfied with the results when taking with dinner.
