Concrete Hand Float 16 X 3 1/8 Inch Round Float Wood

Conrete... ah you are a hard mistress!Pun intended.I find people either 'Love Concrete' or 'Hate Concrete'... Personally, I'm BiPolar on the subject. Concrete Placing brings out the Beast in everyone and turns the language in the air blue. I find this infuriating - listen up people, CONCRETE PLACING DOES NOT HAVE TO BE AN ADRENALINE SPORT !!!However I do Love putting a nice finish on the old 'ronc and seeing a quality end result that will surely be there for the long term......and This float can help you get that result! What this tool excells in is saving your butt when your concrete's gone off just a weeeee bit too much and you take over a little bottle of water and give the surface a rub with this float and, "Oooh baby" up come the fines and you then trowel it off with the finishing float and "VOILA!" shiny shiny!Also, I recently did a big job where the client actually asked for a "mag-float finish" so, of course, what more do you need than one of these excellent Marshalltown products. I've always gone for the ones with fully rounded ends that help prevent float marks.And how about this for excellent Amazon value - I live in New Zealand and I ordered this float and a 12-inch finishing trowel. Even with the postage cost I still got a better deal than if I had bought just the mag-float here in NZ! Hand tools here in NZ can be a shocking cost and Amazon continues to be a great resource for me.However, I did economise a little and opt for the wooden handles over the more expensive DuraSoft handles but I just rubbed a little Sika Form Release Oil into the handles to hopefully give them a little more logevity.Hope this helps!
