This review is for the aluminum version of the Coleman camp chair with side table, which is lighter, more expensive, and has a lower weight capacity than the steel version. I'm too old for those camp chairs that fold up to fit in a canvas bag. I just don't find them comfortable any more. This looked promising and it has delivered far more even than I'd hoped. It is sturdy, and doesn't wobble around. It is relatively easy to deploy, though it takes a bit of effort to snap it in place against the tension of the fabric. This tension helps to keep the chair rigid. It is really comfortable and remarkably light. The side table is perfectly functional. I bought two of these and one of the steel version. They have the same features and work the same way. Both versions are comfortable to sit in. However the steel one is 4 or so lbs heavier than the aluminum (this) version. It also has a higher weight capacity. I would not have thought that 4 or so lbs would make much of a difference in loading and carrying a chair, but it does to me. The aluminum one is about $20 more expensive and has a considerably lower weight capacity, but it is worth it.

Fabulous chair. Superb quality frame and fabric. Will clean easily when necessary and wear well. Really sturdy frame, chair seat is wide, feels great for my back. Padded arms are a great touch - not just cloth but rubber padding underneath that cloth covering. Table is solid and manages to even be attractive rather than cheap-looking. This was a bargain on Amazon compared to some other sources. The ONLY surprise was all the photos show a BLACK/GREY chair and the product description clearly says "Grey", referring I suppose to the colour of the top accent colour. What arrived was not what was pictured - it was a khaki TAN chair seat and arm pieces and the accent colour at the top of the chair was BLACK. So if you don't mind TAN/BLACK instead of BLACK/GREY, order away. Description should be updated to show a tan & black chair so people know they may get that selection. It is an attractive chair in those colours, just not what was pictured or what I expected. Has it been red, orange, weird green or some other strange combination I would have returned it for not being as ordered. However, it's a great chair and I'm happy with it! Note, this is March 2018 so they may update description after this date.

We bought these chairs as a birthday gift for senior parents. They are lightweight and comfortable and the side table makes them perfect for camping where picnic table space is at a premium. They are a little more bulkier than conventional lawn chairs, but the added padding and side table are worth it. The materials are very good and the finish is durable and doesn't show any sign of wear or rust after several weeks of outdoor living. We bought two more for ourselves! Recommended.
