Old Timer 6OT
Great knife for the money $26.50. I also have a 7OT but wanted the 6OT with lanyard hole. In picture, blade has Schrade Super Sharp written on it but does't come that way, just for advertisement I guess, but it is very sharp out of box. So don't expect it to have this writing on blade if you buy one. Also, I had to clean and polish the brass to make it shine like the pictures shown on site. Well made knife!

Good working blade, for the working man, at a great price
Great traditional style working knife, even if not made in US, quality is still good. Can you get a better knife for a couple c notes, made in the US, yep you can. But if you want a quality, low price, working knife, it’s had to beat this one, in my opinion.

Taylor-made Schrade knives...Dont expect the old oldtimers
FOR THE MONEY this knife is alrightThere was a time when the Schrade knife was the nicer knife and the Buck was the higher value option. Today, I would reccomend the Buck 110 over this let-down of a knife. The guality control on mine was very lacking.I use to own a Schrade 60T that was made by the old Schrade company. It was a tank. This one, however, was shipped to me with the OLDTIMER EMBLEM off of the handle and floating around inside of the sheath. There was a little piece of Delrin hanging off at the base of the handle that was very sharp and needed trimming. Read all descriptions carefully to make sure you get what you want. I did not read carefully enough and was surprised to discover a nylon sheath instead of the PICTURED leather sheath. The item description was correct but the picture was misleading. The tip I got on mine was very weak as well. I bent it stabbing into a thick stack of PAPER! I was doing a penetretation test that I have done on all of my knives and this is the only one that bent. And when I say bent, I mean it crumpled into sharp, jagged hook. I had to use a coarse stone to take it off, then re-hone the whole edge.A good thing about the one I got...It was RAZOR SHARP right out of the box. It was as as sharp or sharper than any knife I have ever gotten from Cold Steel, Buck, Kabar, Kershaw, Leatherman, or SOG.After the tip fix, trimming the jagged piece off of the handle, and supergluing the emblem back on, the knife grew on me a LITTLE.Not enough to recommend it thoughBOTTOM LINEYou dont want to get a knife that is constantly going to remind you that you didn't spend much money. If you want a blade of this style, you should save your pennies and get a better knife like a Buck 110(which is still a high value option). If you only have twenty bucks or less and want an old school design like this, go for it. Be ready to perform some maintenance and do not expect the quality that came with the Schrade knives of the past.Cheers!

Has a very sharp edge.
I owned a twin blade folding Old Timer when I was young. I purchased this knife for my son to take on a Boy Scout backpacking trip. The longer locking blade is a nice safety feature for nervice parents. The knife is 5 inches closed, the blade is 3 3/4 inches long, and comes with a case.My son was worried about the closed length but said he forgot it was in his pocket.Good all around camping and whittling knife
