Works well and effortlessly, easy to use
It's a great pump. Priced reasonably and easy to use. I kept the pump in the plastic bag it came with and just keep this in my coat closet where the basketball is stored. When the ball needs some air, I can do this in a snap and off I go to the courts. Highly recommend this pump over any other fancy or bulky space hogging pump out there.

Excellent hand pump.
As a basketball and soccer coach for my two boys, I pump up a LOT of balls. I've had this pump for several months now and it has worked flawlessly. The dual action really does cut pumping time in half. It's pretty amazing how fast you can pump up a flat ball with this small pump. I also like the storage compartment that holds extra needles. I would give it 5 stars if it had a built-in pressure gauge. My last pump had that feature and I miss it. However, my last pump fell apart on me, so I can live without the gauge in return for a sturdier pump. Highly recommended, and a bargain at this price. UPDATE 12/17/12: Well, the pump worked great for all this time and it finally got lost! I'm shocked that I lost it before it ever broke. I'm buying another one right now.

a sweet little pump that easy to store and use
I have used this about two months and this pump works like it should. Could a NASA engineer make it better, sure --- well maybe they could. Do you want to pay that much for such an invention, probably not. Be sensible with it, and you will find it meets all dad-related inflation needs.

cheap and effective
i have a cheap basketball that i use for balance and stability in my workouts at home. it loses air after a couple of weeks. this pump does the job, although getting full pressure is itself a bit of a workout. i would imagine a more expensive pump could fill the ball in a dozen or so strokes. with this, it probably takes 50 strokes. but you get what you pay for and i didn't want to pay a lot. for me, great value.

Works Great for My Needs
Just tried out my new pump for the first time and it worked great. The dual action feature does help speed things up a bit. It is smaller than I imagined but that just means it's more portable. Hope this pump holds up well over time.

Nice and compact.
Good, solid pump. Doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart like other cheaper ones. Now if I can only keep track of those needles.

and I'm not comfortable giving out items that require a health warning label
I was surprised to see a warning label on this product (WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer, or birth defects or other reproductive harm). I purchased 30 of this item for a youth soccer league, and I'm not comfortable giving out items that require a health warning label. Amazon, true to form, is taking them back with no hassle, but I wish I had known about the labeling before I purchased.

It Is the..Was the best pump ive had.
So i like soccer and i have about 15 balls and get new ones occasionly. The pump was doing good for the 1st 2 weeks and then the thing you pump broke off.. i tried fixing it but nothing made it work like before so i just tossed it in the garbage.. :(
