Not as perfect as my favorite pillow at home, but is great on flights
Like a lot of people writing reviews for this product, I've tried several different types of neck pillows, braces, etc. I bought the Trtl pillow to use on both business trips and on vacations... and only for flying. I take several international trips every year and I fly about once a month for work. I've tried a squishy u-shaped pillow and didn't like it because it wasn't firm enough for the way I sleep and I didn't care for it at all. An inflatable u-shaped pillow was so-so. I have brace-style sleep collar thingee that I actually like quite a bit, but the last few times I used it, my neck ended up a little sore. Honestly, half of the reason that I bought the Trtl is because I was intrigued and wanted to see how comfortable it is. I've used a couple of times so far, and I really like it. Is it as perfect as my pillows at home? Nope. But is it comfortable when flying? Definitely. Pros: - Once you figure out the position that is JUST right, it's great. It took me a few tries to get it in a spot that supported my head while I slept. If you don't do that, you'll end up with a sore neck. Other reviewers say that it's a bit flimsy, and I thought so, too, at first, but I fiddled with it a bit and once I got it in the right position: bingo! Was supportive and worked great. - Super soft material - Helps keep you warm on chilly flights - Keeps fellow travelers from talking to you (if you want a little privacy) because when they see you put the thing on in order to take a nap, they know you're serious about going to sleep. :) Cons: - Am a little concerned that the material won't hold up. So far it's been fine, but I secure the Trtl around my neck pretty snug, and am a bit worried that eventually the plastic prongs will come popping out of the seams. But again, it's been just fine so far. - It takes up a little more room in a travel bag than other pillows because it doesn't lay completely flat. That's not a huge deterrent for me, though, because I tend to pack pretty lightly and I had plenty of room for it in my bag. All in all, the "pros" greatly outweigh the "cons" for me, and I really like it. If the material doesn't hold up, I'm come back and change my review, but so far, I'd recommend the Trtl. :)

Best in the market, Room for better design
I am 5' 8", and have used this item for almost 3 months so far. I use it two times a day, 1.5 hours per time, 5 days per week; 15 hours per week. So I think I am a qualified reviewer. 1. Best in the market. First of all, I have tried other travel pillows in different shapes and sizes. Among them, I think this is the best in size, weight, comfort, and warmth. Still I give this 4 stars. Why? Two reasons. Pillows in the market are 2-3 stars at best in my standard. Second, Trtl is the best among them, but still has room to improve. I will be more than glad if they nail it and I am willing to give 5+ stars for next generation product, if any. 2. H support height This is the greatest uniqueness of Trtl neck pillow. It's great in general, with two weakness: A. For my (normal) neck length at my height, I would say this neck support is 0.5-0.7 inch shy. I see others' review too; their fix is to insert extra support like blankets - which beats the benefit of Trtl pillow. It would be best if the H support stays longer when the head weight presses it. 3. H support tension The H support is flimsy and that's a good thing; otherwise the vibration from the road or the vehicle won't be smoothly absorbed and neck and head will feel that as discomfort. Here is the problem - it loses the tension over extended use; what this means, it will be studier on your first day of purchase. In three weeks you will feel your head goes further down, causing tension in you neck and feels fatigue after sleeping. In 2+ months, your head will go further down - impairing the "support" feature of the travel pillow. How I am fixing it is somewhat uncanny: I use 2 H supports in one pillow; that sustains the tension required for me neck and head. 4. Imperfect velcro positioning Velcro is very important to control the tightness of the pillow, and the tension of the H support. The velcro position is far from right design though; it is too long for one round of wrap, and it is too short for two rounds of wrap. I would say that they optimized the velcro position design not for the pillow in-use case, but for the pre-use or after-use case. You will see what I tell only when you try this on. 5. Excellent customer support I did complain about this losing tension, and they quickly and professionally responded to my complaint by sending me a new one, assuming the one I used is 'defective'. I do believe the one I purchased originally is not necessarily defective; it is as it is. But I was glad to see the high quality of the customer service. I see the same level throughout the comments to the Amazon reviews. I hope Trtl makes a better revision of this great product. One-shy stars is my challenge to them.

I searched extensively before purchasing, and read many reviews of neck pillows and similar products. What can I say – I wasn't disappointed. I used it on a 7-hour flight recently and it was very comfortable.
