It fit very well.

I know that when a motorized garage door opener fails, it's a first world problem. But... yeah, that needs to be fixed ASAP. My model of the Genie screw drive is a PowerMax 1200. I didn't follow the directions that came with the carriage. Instead, I dropped the motor from its ceiling mounts and rested it on a ladder. I then dropped the door end of the rail from the door mount. I was able to then remove the front third of the screw drive with the carriage by sliding it out from the front end of the rail. I slipped the new carriage onto the portion of the screw I had removed and stuffed the new carriage and the screw back into the rail, reversed the removal process and voila, garage door is functioning again. Much easier than the suggested process of disassembling the rail from the motor with all that that entails. Part works like a charm.

Day one... Worked well. You DO need to disassemble the back part of the motor and track system. Bee prepared to reset the up and down settings. I YouTube's the same direction as my opener system. Happy wife-. Happy life

For Genie screw drive openers. You'll need to drop the opener down from the ceiling, but it's not a super-complicated job to do. Just follow the directions and you'll be back running in an hour or so. My opener has an extension for my 9-foot high door, so it took a little thought...but no issues. Save a LOT over a new opener. Which, BTW, is a much more complicated job....and, your existing remote programming doesn't have to be re-done.

Great replacement! had to take down the whole track to install, but this was the only way to install easily. Having a second person helped by not having to climb up and down the ladder as frequent. Worked perfectly!

My Genie screw drive,(POWER LIFT 900) the Track is a 3 piece unit. One Clip, One Release tab, and the track and section of end screw come apart.
