ASICS Men's HyperGEL-KENZEN Running Shoes

Yes, the sizing is off. That's a given. They even mention so in the description, saying these shoes are meant to be a "sock-like fit" or something to that effect. I'm usually a 9 or 9.5 in most shoes (9.5 in ASICS running shoes). I tried a 9 & 9.5, too tight. Went up to 10, perfect!I had been looking for a slip-on type of casual shoe and/or running shoe (I don't run but do a lot of walking) for awhile.And when I saw these, I instantly fell in love ❤️ The subtle design (it's super cool yet not so in-your-face-crazy lol) + the Japanese-inspired Mind/Body/Soul connection, I just had to have them.They are comfy as heck (or as the kids say these days..."comfy AF" 😂) & I see them being a pair of shoes I wear for a long time. I plan to order more colors soon before they are gone forever. Seems to be limited sizes/colors. Not sure if they will get restocked.Lastly, I hope ASICS creates more variations of this kind of shoe in the future. They rock!!!

First of all be sure to buy half to full size up from your normal size. I typically wear a size 9 in Adidas and Nike but the Asics 9.5 and 10 fit me best. I ended up going with the size 10 for a slightly looser fit because the sock fit technology is pretty tight and tough to get your foot in, but once it's in it stays put. First off having no laces is convenient and gives the shoe a futuristic look, I mostly wear this to work and the HyperGEL cushioning is a joy in every step! I've even jogged in these shoes and the HyperGEL is amazing shock absorption especially if you have knee pain or shin splints. To be honest I'm tempted to buy another pair in a different color because they're so comfortable.

That aren't many sport/running/walking shoes that are without laces and this one fits the bill in terms of looks and comfort.The shoes hugs the foot really well and there is no concern of it falling off even while jogging.Take into account that the toe-box is narrow so take at lest a half a a size bigger and even then it might feel a bit snug.I'm usually a size 11 and took a size 11.5. with thin, now show socks it fits well all be it snug in the toe-box with the toes bunching up a bit but not to serious since it feels that the show will expand a bit over time.For the price, it a great value and a great every day, walking or light jogging shoe.

Dunno who designed this but the opening for the shoe was too small, couldnt even get my whole foot inside.

I love these and I’m definitely a 10 in other ASICS but the design is I believe over correcting for the laceless elasticated form factor. I do have a high instep so that might affect it but I find these (at least out of the box) hard to put on and my big toe while not touching the ultimate front of the shoe feels unusually close and is certainly touching the fabric of the shoebox - I suspect an 11 would solve both issues for my foot so I’ll edit if needed after a week or two of breaking in - but those issues aside the shoe is comfortable, supportive and looks even better in real life- gonna be horrifying to keep clean though.

I have experience with Boost and React. The Hypergels aren't as plush but are pretty comfortable nonetheless. They are a little firmer so more stable. You can definitely feel the cushion when walking. There's not much of the midsole on the forefoot though.The knit is very soft and stretchy. It's a little tight on the ankle because it doesn't have laces, so it's a bit hard to put on. But once in, the shoe is roomy. The thick padding around the ankle helps with how tight it is.

Slightly hard to put on, after 8 hour shift the top of my foot was sore from the slip on compression. Hopefully they just need to be “broken-in”. Really like this shoe.

Order 1 size up! It is 1 whole size too small for men. Aside from this, the shoes are a great culmination of the research that has gone into making slip on running trainers viable. The neon yellow undertones in the black look pretty 90s, somehow, and that's perfectly aesthetic. They do require break in, but then fit snugly like they mean business, and that's with a whole size up. If you are into a fitted feel, have a high arch, and may find yourself in a situation where you need to run on pavement, this shoe will fit the bill, but in 1 size up. It is imperative to remember to order 1 size up (for men's sizing).
