Q: Are the patterns right side up on both sides of the bags. Bought other bags and one side was upside down

Each reusable shopping bag is sewed out of whole cloth (for greater heavy-lift capacity), so the front and back of shopping bag are reversed for cartoon patterns.

Q: Does the 35 lb smaller bag have a Flat Bottom like the 50 lb larger bag?

It has a narrow area at the bottom that you consider flat. But, surprisingly it shapes fine to things like cereal boxes in the same bag if put in the same direction. It does not stand up when empty, which is the only difficult thing for getting the first item into the bag.

Q: Are these bags either water resistant or water proof?

Not waterPROOF, but unlike the bags they sell at the store, made of woven plastic or something, these don’t start to degrade when wet, or tear where the handles are sewn on. You can wash these & use them over & over. I’ve had 3 for almost 2 years that I use every other week & they look good as new. I LOVE them!
